KDB scores miss of the season and it's 2-0 and 3 points
Won't be this year but if you can't see Pep is best possible man to take us to next level in these 3 years then you really need help

We've been soft ever since Pellegrini took over. Only a handful of players give it 100% attacking and defending. And to compound this, one player who gives 100%, doesn't know how to gauge many defensive situations and is left on his arse.

exactly

He was and it's becoming a bit of a concern.
It's hard to judge with so little match time. Thrown into that situation it's not surprising he was a touch slow. Lucky for us Aguero just gifted him plenty of opportunity to get up to speed

Because they acted like pricks that's why. They need to fuckin grow up. They've cost us - the paying fans - the title in two mins. You happy about that are you? If you look at my past posts I get slated for standing up for our players and managers, but it's not the first time Sergio has done this. He and fern are meant to be professions at the height of their professions. may be prick is to harsh. is fuckin knob heads ok ;-)
Are you fucking joking, they have cost us the title... ? What utter utter Shite.

How many strikers did we have when we kept scoring the most goals in the league? 4? Our other players don't score enough goals so we need more options up front.

I don't think you can have 4 top strikers in our team. We only play one up front and they would all want to play. Jesus coming in will be helpful

You don't have to be aggressive or sliding into tackles to be a good defender.

Where are you getting that from? I'm speaking of players who give 100% all the time and Otamendi is one of those but he's shocking at gauging a defensive situation, especially counter attacks. Only other players who I see give 100% week in week out both on attacking and defensive duties are Fernandinho and Navas and the likes of Zab, Sagna, Fernando when they play. Not saying they play well, just they always give their best although Navas does pussy out of challenges sometimes so you could maybe demote him. Hopefully I've made clear what I meant originally. Kompany is also a 100% type of guy.

Yeah he just congratulated Chelsea.

Said he's still trying to understand refs.

That was about it.

he needs to start trying to understand what are defenders and other players are capable of and not capable of first......

blaming the ref is poor

we got what we deserved and if we as fans and now are manager are making these excuses then we will not progress

Well it is because we played Chelsea today. This thread is on that one game ..... :)

Well why are you talking about the entire season then ;)

The mistakes mainly finishing and defensive errors are becoming more than a one game blip. It's becoming at the least frustrating, at the most a weakness which is being exploited.

Pep: "I don't have regrets. We lost. I'm sorry, but I don't have regrets."
Pep: "We didn’t win because we missed a lot a lot of chances, not because of the referee."

Sorry if already mentioned. Anyone else notie that Pep refused to shake hands or acknowledge any of the Chelsea players on the pitch at the end. Or did I imagine this?

Yes I do, even though he was stretching he tried to put power in the shot instead of cushioning the ball. It was a bad miss.
It was an awful miss.

We score that and we control the game. We don't concede two or three on the break and we top the league.

Bravo is getting fucking pelters but it's KDB that cost us this game. And the ref.

No, I agree. But we need another option. 1 is not enough. I have high hopes for Gabriel but we surely cannot expect him to bang in 20 a season from the word go.

Ottamendi can't defend 1v1 bullied today by Costa....
Bravo 2nd goal positioning was shocking for an international goal keeper wouldn't expect an U12 keeper to leave that much space for Willian to roll the ball into....
Iheanacho at the moment for me is no where near good enough to be in this squad, reminds me so much of Bony, when he came on he gave the ball away to often and lost the ball for there 3rd we need another top class forward....
Add Aguero and DeBruyne not at their best....a cheating **** of a Rag supporting ref ( I don't care what anyone says he is a Rag, no fucker from Manchester picks a team like Altrincham to follow sorry but the ****s a rag it's plain to see).... And it's not to be

I wouldn't be surprised if that was a bent game when you look at it...and is Anthony Taylor the new John Moss...
Otamend nowt had twenty quid on Chelsea, Bravo 10K. Shows you how much Hart was covering up for me.

From the post you replied to about sliding tackles. I agree with what your saying though mate

Come off it mate, we played ok-ish.

But "the best we've played all season"? Give me a break. We were well rough. Defensively dodgy and from an attacking perspective, inept. We scored 0 goals and conceded 3. Best performance of the season, my arse.

Best by a distance as a team imo.

Individual mistakes cost us. Same performance, decent finishing & that'a a 4 or 5 goal destruction. Some of our attacking was as good as anything I've seen in that Stadium.

For the past few weeks I've been thinking about taking a break from football. I think it's starting to effect my overall (for want of a better word)mental health. I'm far too emotionally invested in City and with games like this, I'll be spending all day trying to keep my mind occupied so I won't think about it. If anybody has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

It's just a game, finding it much easier to realise that the older I get.
