Anthony Taylor appointed ref for Chelsea

Said the same as we walked out
Chelsea player pushes Aguero over, yellow
Fabregas slaps Ferdi, yellow

Neither can now be altered

I love our club, always have and always will but football as a spectacle now because of officials?

No thanks, its fucking shocking and thats not sour grapes at losing a game. Ive had so much practice down the years watching us get beat but top level football today, especially in Europe and the Cl is an utter disgrace and paying fans are being taken for a ride!

I genuinely think he's just incompetent rather than having the intention of cheating. In fairness he has been as equally shite in United games he has reffed.

I just think it's ridiculous that the PGMO appoint him to ref games including either us or United. Who gives a shit if he is an Altrincham fan - proximity bias should stop him being considered.
Sorry mate but that wasn't incompetence it was bent....the outcome is what Sky, BT, media, EPL wanted....I have had my suspicions for a while...John Moss was at it all last season some very strange performances....Anthony Taylor has just surpassed anything Moss did last season with that performance today....very bent game today Taylor ensured that today

A few of us sat watching over here,a Leicester, Forest and Arsenal fan and all said this looks dodgy when he couldn't wait to book Otamendi for his first foul on Costa. Funny how it didn't happen the other way. You could see the horror on his face after the Luiz foul he ran over whistle to mouth and stopped to look at the linesman what is going on. Personally not sure it was a red card but a dero foul and yellow at best for Luiz.
Time and time again we are penalised and our players get frustrated.

Saw this too. Reflex action looks more like it before his mission kicked in and decided to play on.

He is a cheat end of, Luiz should have walked and he was about to blow and changed his mind, also 2 pens not given. To win this league we will need to make sure we score at least 2 per game to cancel out the dodgy decisions against us

This ^^^^^100%....I've said football at the highest level is becoming like WWE....the outcome of some games the story line is set out no matter what....for City to have had any chance to win the game today we would have had to have been 100% flawless and taken it right out of the bent twats hands, we couldn't do that today so the outcome was as SKY, BT AND the Premier League wanted today....forget betting syndicates an all that ....the game itself is bent from the FA to the Prem League to FIFA to UEFA to Sky to BT to the media....they set the story line and 80% of the time the outcome is as they want....I'm not saying all games are bent but the ones heavily involving any of the above organisations are very dodgy in my opinion

For the first time my younger daughter, who thinks I'm paranoid about it all, actually asked why do we bother going.
"its bent and we're being robbed, why do we spend £800 a year on a season ticket to just get screwed over"
She has a point, and I'm sat here in the pub asking myself is it all all worth it?
Can't even bring myself to talk to my mate who's come in.

Its a joke that I now think we get a fairer deal from UEFA refs than we do from the FA

i would guess Taylor, over Sunday lunch with his fanatical red family would toast this recent berti loss. Then, with his other friends, I'd guess there bets for red cards and the next game are ripe for a nice payoff.

Yes we missed a host of chances but one personnel change today and we would have won, that one change is the Rag Anthony Taylor. If any other ref, someone like Mike Dean, was in charge today we would have been playing 10 men, Sideshow Bob would have been in the bath which in turn stops what happens at the end, how this man can go anywhere near a football pitch where City or the scum are playing is beyond me!

Salient points:

- Handball by Cahill in the box first half - nothing given.
- Aguero through on goal, body checked by Luiz - nothing (!) given.
- Sane fouled in the box - nothing given.
- Hazard runs into Kolarov - Chelsea FK.
- Silva doesn't retreat 5 yards and blocks a FK - nothing given!
- Willian dives over Kolarov's leg - nothing given.
- Aguero downed in the box (too far away for me to see,) - nothing given.
- Aguero tackles - straight red
- Fabregas slaps Ferna - nothing given
- Batshuayi pushes Aguero over - yellow card
- Ferna pushes Fabregas over - red card

I want this guy nailed. Does anyone actually know his or his families Rag connection or know anyone who knew him at school? I want a dossier of character assisnitiin and testimonials to spread far and wide... he is a disgrace and we have not even seen an analysis of the penalty appeals yet.

The daughter of a mate of mine used to work with him and is, was and always has been red bastard.

Worst refereeing performance ever. He has to have been paid a backhander. There is simply no other explanation.
To not give the block by Luiz on Aguero in the first half was breathtaking. Of course it would have been a DOGSO red card if he had. Then to not give the 3 absolutely nailed on penalties let alone the other stuff he purposefully missed was unbelievable.

There's no doubt all the unleashing of frustration at then end was the outcome of his incompetent bottle job. I think we had a fair shout for a pen for when Gundogan was brought down in the first half in the box (funnily enough it was neve replayed!), and even when Navas was tripped in the box towards the end. And of course Luiz was the icing on the cake.

It really is sickening to see a biased bottle job like that.
