I'm not sure why some get so upset with the series being split, there could be 16 in a row and then a longer wait without any episodes. Look how some people are about having to wait so long between episodes of GoT. They come back for 8 more in Feb, then not long after that Fear the walking dead will start back up and before you know it, there is a new series again. Makes the wait seem less between series to me.
The end was cheesy as you like, as I said like the A-Team, but it was meant to be uplifting after all the gloom for 7 episodes, they cant win, some people are upset when its all misery, some when they try and give a bit of hope. This series hasnt been as bad as some are making out.
I'm not upset I am just asking the reason behind it? I just think it is poor that we get a great opener, a few hours of little going on then a decent mid season finale and kept waiting again. I started Walking Dead late, I think it was 5 series in and I hammered them and watched them at my leisure. I just find it frustrating that you wait a week for 40 odd minutes of nothing then it stops mid series! Never even tried fear the walking dead, any good?
I just thought if Glenn and Abraham doesn't motivate you to fight back why does the death of two massively irrelevant characters put a bit of fire in your belly? We have been told for episodes about waiting months/years to fight back (we know it will never of taken that long) and now after a couple of weeks they are bang up for it. I just hope 7 ends with Carole snuffing it, annoying cow.
Thats the problem when you've got used to binge watching a series, having to wait a week makes you realise how slow some episodes are. I thought the series after the prison was terrible, just walking along the train track to Terminus for seemingly episode after episode, then they somehow miraculously all came back together.
They painted a picture of it being bleak, maybe overly so, so it was strange they all suddenly changed their minds, with Daryl taken, the risk of reprisals high, showing the other groups has added to the drag, but also added to the suspense and intrigue for me, there has to be something in that all woman group coming into things (with the load of guns) because if not that was a totally wasted episode.
Fear the walking dead is no where near as good, main problem being it is very very hard to give a shit about any of the characters, I agree about Carol, she's been annoying me for a while, was glad Negan gutted that spineless worm though, he was annoying as fuck.

They've not exactly had the time to teach her to read have they.The baby, Carl has grown up and looks 5 years older than he was at the start, but the baby seemingly still cant walk, talk or do anything for herself still, its one stunted 5 year old.
