Great to win a game whoever the opposition. Personally don't feel we will win anything this year. The team today looked pretty much how it has looked the last few years. Endless recycling of the ball ending up with a misplaced cross. The way we play as Arsenal have found out over the years is high risk in the sense that packed defences can make life difficult and when luck's against you points are dropped.

I do think that Pep showed some pragmatism which I applaud. We did look a lot better at the back. And I think that Yaya controlling a game from between the two CBs seems to be a viable option. He still looks apart from KdB the best footballer we have at our disposal. Very rarely wastes a pass.

Sterling was lively. Not too sure Gundongan is a huge loss although it's a great shame for him personally. We can now go back to a midfield three of Dinho, KdB and Silva/Yaya.

So overall a good night, and Pep seems to be learning that row Z may be an option at times.

The game on Sunday should be a belter as there won't be any bus parking for a change.

It's a good job Ighalo didn't put that chance away. he was Zabaleta's man. In recent games, the opposition have more or less taken every single chance

It is but that was only really the one chance we gave them. Clichy was at fault although Zab was wrong sided. Overall it was much better and what we needed to boost confidence.

I think somebody needs to explain the role of 'false 9' which is where Nolito was playing this evening. He did a decent job in my opinion. Stretched their defence through his movement and created space and opportunities for those around him. Could have scored at least one too.....if he could head the ball.

Solid performance against a very unambitious Watford. Bravo saved more than he let in which is an improvement and we look better with four at the back, although Clichy is past it and nearly cost us.
