People cheering when Bravo caught the ball

Let's get this straight, we have become a bunch of self-righteous twats at times. Success has changed us. We fell in to the trap set that we would be world beaters and dominate forever. Thank Christ it's not going to happen because the prem would be as insipid as it was 10 years ago.

I agree that he hasn't been pulling up trees but let's be honest, his form hasn't been anywhere near as bad as some people are gleefully making out. We are in a situation where the opposition can cut through our entire team with ease and if Bravo doesn't save the one on one then the goal is attributed to a goalkeeping error. It's fucking bizarre, quite frankly.
I am convinced there is something pathological in the behavior of some fans. What they do is to me simply bullying. They single out an individual and do what they can to make him fail, so they afterwards can complain that he fails. The only logic I see in this is that they simply enjoy having a go at someone which equals to enjoy being cruel. There is a fair amount of this behavior on BM as well. Do we have a psychologist on here who can explain it to me?

England fans do the same with Sterling. Give him constant shit then complain when he plays badly but oddly seem quite happy about it at the same time.

Pop up to a&e on a Saturday night and you will see the breadth of society and the world we live in. Unfortunately many have Man City football tattoos and watch city. They abuse on the high street on a night out and at a football match.

The day we start booing our own players is the day I will stop going to games.
We will have become rags.
Simply unacceptable.

scapegoating has, sadly, been around since the dawn of mankind and is contagious among the less intelligent.
the thick fuckers simply cannot help themselves.

I remember the same thing happening to Joe Corrigan after he let a soft shot go between his legs at Maine Rd against Newcastle, big ironic cheer next time he caught the ball. I wouldn't mind but we were 4-0 up when he made the error.

Alex Williams, Platt lane end against Cardiff, IIRC, straight through his legs, got dogs abuse for the rest of the game, in an ironic sort of way

I was at the game in EL3 and didn't notice it to be honest. But the way that Bravo has to answer his critics is by improving his performances which quite frankly haven't been good enough. Over the years plenty of players have had a bit of stick and they have to come through it themselves.

Ah and there in a nutshell is the psyche of you average England fan. that wonderful combination of entitlement, envy and alcohol fueled rage. After all there is a corner of a foreign field that is forever England, apparently.

We dont need idiots like that supporting our club, makes us no better than the rags with Fellaini !!
Rubbish. He must know he's been playing shit and letting in saveable shots so shouldn't be expecting the crowd to give him their full support. If he has the right temperament he'd use ironic cheering as an incentive to play better. It's better than booing.

I'm sure he is old and ugly enough simply to play himself back into form. The muppets then come back with "well, he should have saved that" etc. The poor fella will never be accepted by a few morons I'm afraid.

watched MOTD for some reason last night, dont usually watch the crap because I prefer to actually see some match highlights ! A few of the goals that went in at various grounds I thought had bravo done that some of our fans would have said "should av got that bravo"... Not saying that bravo hasnt made mistakes but most goals he should have saved according to some fans.
