Arsenal Post Match Thread.

That one was for all the shithouses in here and at the game today , have some belief in the lads and they will perform

Some of the comments pre match sounded like we were playing some knd of super team , it was Arsenal ffs

Excellent value for the win today. Soon as they scored I thought we were in for along afternoon but credit to the boys for keeping going. Deserved that, and good to keep Utd at arms length. Shame Burnley didn't do us a favour and peg Spurs back.

Listened to Talkshite (don't ask me why) on the way home and it seemed the gobshite on there was watching a different game. Apparently Arsenal gave the game away and both our goals were offside and Chelsea must be pissing themselves at how bad us and Arsenal are.

I personally think we did play well in the first half, well possession wise which in the end knackered arsenal out ,then steamrollered them in the second half.

Fernando was excellent, I keep seeing that he's a waste of time and doesn't bring much to the team, I personally think give him a few games on the trot and we would see the true Fernando, actually d half went saw him grow in confidence as that second half progressed, yaya controlled the game, but sterling scared the shit out of them.

The team found some bollocks at half time. Great second half. Sterling's goal surely a goal of the month contender. Great play from him and KDB.

Can't keep conceding shit goals though if we are to win the league.

Seriously though, there must have been 60 posters pre game giving us no hope and then slating Pep for the team sheet.

There's zero come back for them. They act like ****s and bar three or four holding their hands up on this thread, they melt away not to be heard of until the next sticky patch.

But that makes it interesting for the North London moaners.
We just need to concentrate on our own games.

Talkshite is run by cockney wankers for cockney wankers. It's about as relevant as jellied eels.

Theo Walcott on US TV saying they were well beaten by the better team today. Good contrast to that absolute whining douchebag of a manager making excuse after excuse.
Watched it on NBC and the commentators thought we were excellent in the second half. No excuses. To be fair one of then was Lee Dixon. They also didn't whinge about the offsides. We were so obviously deserved winners that it would be futile to complain. Only thing that narked was Graeme Le Saux saying the Chelsea game was very close up until Chelsea scored their first against us. He basically rewrote history and left out the part where we should have been 4-0 up. Other than that, a more enjoyable experience than watching on Sky.

It's not the critique that annoys me. It's the we're wank, shite and any derogatory word they can find,
to describe the manager/players/club they are supposed to be supporting.

That and knowing better than the manager and slating the starting line up.

I seriously don't understand what they get from being a 'fan'.

Simply awesome, so many outstanding performances, and considering 4 of our top players were out, I must admit I wasnt hopeful about this match but City, you just made it a very happy Christmas.
