once we get the full backs and a second striker sorted we will be close to unstoppable.

I think full backs is by far the area most in need of investment but I reckon it'll be the summer when we see it happen.

I was watching Leicester yesterday and their best player was a young left back called Ben Chillwell. fast, good cross and good defensively. apparently arsenal and liverpool are interested. he could be a good option.

He's a good prospect but is prone to fuckups just the same as our kids. Has had one or two nightmare games. Not a signing which would necessarily strengthen the squad this season.

Extremely important positions nowadays. Seeing Rose and Walker being involved in a couple of goals agains Hull (?) some games ago, and the likes of
Milner and Clyne pressing for Liverpool. Zabaleta did this well but is past it now and Kola/Clichy lack the edge. If we solve these positions, things will
look good.

tbf to him, i think it was his first league start this season. the only other game he's started, is the porto game where they had a weakened team. he was out on loan at huddersfield the season before last and earned a lot of good reviews. i think he'd be one for the future. get a first choice and then he could be the eventual replacement. can't see angelino making it tbh.

I know it's not going to happen but I would LOVE Michel Antonio at RWB. Rated him for a couple years now. He reminded me of Micah a few years ago the way he would bomb forward when I first saw him. I've always like West Ham for some reason.

Couldn't agree more mate. One of the best rb's in the prem at the moment for me. Plus he's English which is always a bonus

I hope he does make it. Genuine quality that lad. Him and Maffeo have got to have a future with us

If these rumors of Cancelo to Barca are true then surely it means Roberto won't want to stay right? He's been a huge surprise and a very good player for him this season and they're looking at replacing him. If the rumors are indeed true, we should try to bring in Roberto

I've seen him playing for their first team & having an absolute nightmare. But that happens to young defenders.

Angelino is more of a potential wingback than fullback at first team level I would have thought. More ability going forward.

But again, James Milner is playing fullback for a team with title aspirations, so it's very difficult to judge these days. Fullbacks are generally, shit.

Grimaldo would be the best LB we could buy that's available. Alaba won't leave Bayern and both Rodriguez and Gaya are overrated IMO
