I think we here in the UK call someone like him a "tit".
You love me really West, I think you're just insecure about admitting it.

Question for the Trump admirers.

If he doesn't build the wall with pesos, evict the 13million, take a huge can of WD40 to the Rust Belt, invest in the infrastructure, ban Muslim immigration, replace Obama Care with something terrific, sort out China and smash ISIS, what his ticket was based upon after all, will you still support him?

Of the above pledges which would you say he will carry out first?

As a Trump hater I cannot get my head around this lying twats appeal.

For me, not one of those things he promised will ever happen. Because they are a combination of mental and impossible.

I just hope the structures of the three branches of govt can keep this maniac genie in the bottle most of the time.

However, I'm biased. What do you think he will do, or have done two years in say?

Aw man, you say such hurtful things!

'Bandwagoner', that's what most people would call an American City 'supporter'.

Difference is that I've been to some dozen matches in Manchester and have been following the side since Keegan thanks to my affinity for the sport and your fair town, and after that, the fans. Squirty Flower would be happy to fill you in.

How many times have you voted in the U.S.?

Sorry mate, being alive during the Jimmy Carter administration is an American' voter's version of having survived York away.

Interesting. If they were saying they helped Clinton win would you be bending over backwards to accommodate that?

Didn't think so.

Who is bending over backwards to accommodate the current outcome? If you are getting that out of my posts, then you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. I never said they shouldn't investigate nor did I say that it wasn't the Russians. I do have issue with the fact, and it is fact, that this current administration still hasn't taken taken cyber security as seriously as they should. Allocating funds without setting a project lead is typical big government, throw money at the problem, type methodology that rarely yields good results.

For what it is worth, the one moment that turned the election around wasn't the Clinton email stuff. Hell that was going on before the first primary and that didn't stop Clinton from winning the nomination. I dare say that people were so tired of hearing about it that they had zoned it out. There have been several people that really followed the ebb and flow of the election and they all found that the single biggest turning point was the "basket of deplorables" comment from Clinton. That really resonated with blue collar and middle class.

Apparently Meryl Streep had a pop during an award speech last night and Donald in all his splendour responded by calling her overrated. A pre pubescent teenager in the body of a 70 year old is going to be the POTUS ffs. What could go wrong?

I would bet if asked he couldn't describe the plot of a single one of her films, yet calls her "overrated." And so it goes.

He must have incredibly thin skin to bite on Twitter at every perceived slight. He is going to President ffs, he had better get used to it. And this continued denial that he was mocking the disabled journalist, wow. We all saw it with own eyes, he was mocking the man's disability, fact.

As an award winning actor himself, he would know. After all he did win the Razzie Award for worst supporting actor for the film 'Ghosts Can't Do It', in 1990. He played himself in the movie.

Didn't you know, he always does that impression when taking the piss out of people whether disabled or not. That's what he said, so it must be true. It's all the dishonest media's fault for showing it.

I'm not a Trump admirer. I voted for him as a vote against her. Neither one were candidates that resonated with me, but my hatred of her (and her husband) go back to when he was governor of Arkansas. Lesser of two evils type thing for me.

But I'll play along:

Its no different than Obama's promises that were never kept... Like your plan or your doctor you can keep them. Close Gitmo in the first year. Make immigration reform the top priority within the first year. Won't raise taxes on the middle class. Be the most transparent administration in history.

Politicos lie. It is what they do. I have a lot of friends and family that are excited about the Trump Presidency. To be fair, they don't have expectations that he'll get everything done. What they do want is a true attempt. They want an administration to make better deals for the citizens of the US. If he either renegotiates NAFTA, cans the TPP, etc, they will be happy. If he does as he says and gets rid of a ton of regulation that makes everything more expensive and harder to operate a small business, they will be happy. If he pushes forward on border security and can't get the wall built, then they will not be too happy. Frankly, most of the people around here don't care who pays for the wall. Thing is, Trump didn't make very many promises in comparison to the candidates in the last few elections.

I take your point but he had republican controlled congress to stymie his every move.

Trump has a free run.

I think it's just human nature. He needs to latch onto one of those "fuck you, we got our revenge, we won" euphorias everyone sees in the movies. It's quite a high. I totally get it, especially if little else in life has given someone that kind of a feeling of pleasure. Hell, that's why most of us follow sport. Problem is, there's a lot more at stake here than in sport.
exactly - just feel for those that have bought this as the answer to their life's dreams... and how they might get hit by the 'comedown.'

He didn't for the first two years. People say that Trump has full control. He doesn't because the GOP doesn't have a super-majority. Obama had a super-majority which was only used to pass legislation that is still hated. There is so much they could have done with that power. He could have easily held to most of his promises, most of which were supposed to happen in the first 90 days to a year when he truly did have full control.

What was passed that is still hated ?

As an outsider, apart from the gun control issue, things look pretty good in the US at the moment. Economy growing every year since the 08/09 recession, record employment, crime generally down (in spite of the ridiculous number of gun deaths), improved health care for the poorest etc etc. He's failed on foreign policy but that's no real surprise and doesn't really affect the daily lives of most people. Terrorism is a tiny problem in the US compared to other crime even if it is blown out of all proportion. So why are so many people pissed off with Obama?

He definitely mocked him all right, but he wasn't mocking the disability.

He's done the exact same thing many times:

All of the above clips are only 20 seconds long.

Why then did he feel the need to say that he did not know that the man was disabled. That was an outright lie, he knew full well and had engaged with the man countless times over 10yrs or more?
