I wouldn't rule it out however given that Khaldoon was quoted just today about the lad I'd be surprised if this was the case.

You'd think that if there was the potential of this falling through that our chairman would be dodging any press questions on him.
Khaldoon never speaks so it's done and was announced in august on the OS

I am furious. How am I supposed to come on here and whine about how he isnt good enough when he doesnt even play? Instead I'll have a whine about City not getting his paperwork sorted so he could play, which would in turn have given me the opportunity to whine about how he isnt good enough. Get your fingers out City.

Ah, thats better. Now, where did I put that half empty glass of water?

;)

Don't know why people are wetting their pants. He'll just turn out to be a shit Jo.

Fuck sake if that's true then it could be ages till it's sorted out. Always thought 3rd party ownership is just scummy. People leeching off someone else's talent.
I always thought 3rd party ownership is against Prem/FA rules !

It is. That's why it takes ages cos you have to pay every single party who owns a bit of the player their bit of the money so you can get 100% ownership. It's always a fucking mess. Should be banned world wide.

Very disappointing that this still hasn't been sorted. It's been months since we agreed to sign the lad.
We can't register him while he's registered with another club and their season didn't finish until recently so he was registered with them until the window opened here on Jan 1st. Secondly, Palmeiras and this guy Caran, who is his former agent, are in dispute with each other over who owns this 22.5% that both claim to own. It's going through the courts in Brazil but it's not clear whether we've paid Palmeiras the 52.5% (the 30% that isn't in dispute plus the disputed 22.5%) and left them to sort it out or we aren't sure who to pay until it is sorted out.

OK, very interesting but what are the practical implications?

And, while I'm not flapping because I didn't expect him to be playing yet, this is a piss-poor PR effort from a so-called super-club.

Can we all calm down now he has spoken

From comments that Pep has made, it doesnt seem to be a case of easing him in gradually, not putting pressure on him. He's just not eligible to play.

No big deal if its just a delay of a match or two because of a last minute hitch. if its more than that its not really surprised if people are getting a tad disappointed.

True but people are slagging off the club despite not knowing if it's more than that or not.

The next two games are huge, and reading between the lines, I don’t think Jesus will be playing next week either.

In the long term that isn’t a problem, but I can think of at least three recent threads where all the positivity has surrounded his imminent arrival, and immediate impact on our bid to chase Chelsea/keep ahead of United.

Funny because I’m now reading a load of contradictory nonsense from the same people, who are now arguing that it was all part of the plan to keep everything quiet.

So let’s all go to Goodison with fingers crossed that Aguero doesn’t twat anybody.

One or two have been over the top today,i'm as excited to see him in a blue shirt but we just have to be patient and not attack the club over it
