Positive thread alert

The positive is look where we are as a club now. 15 years ago the best any blue hoped for was a derby win and to avoid relegation. The fact i am a bit miffed whilst having Guardiola as our coach, rock solid stability and fantastic infrastructure. Not to mention we are right up near the top of the best league in the world (imo).

We ar just fine but it is hard to see us slipping when we should be improving. However i bet if you asked Pep now who is going he could spit the names out in a second.

I agree...............is Bravo in that list?

Define the English game that has more foreign players and coaches than it does English personnel?
it involves pace ,power, scoring goals, clean sheets and goalkeepers that save an odd shot. Not pass the fucking thing to death, never shoot and conceding from the oppositions first attack more often than not.
Can you explain to me whats the point of bravo? He doesn't even find anyone with a pass anymore. Those other foreign coaches
You mention have adapted to suit the premier league, pep is either unwilling or unable to.

This is descending into an negative thread, guys.....
well saying as we are not allowed a negative one this is as good a place as any to post. Anyway most of us are furious at what we witnessed yesterday. If pep doesn't see theres something wrong then its likely to happen again. On a Positive note, there's half a season for him to sort it out.

"pace ,power, scoring goals, clean sheets and goalkeepers that save an odd shot" Just like the Budesliga hey?
"never shoot and conceding from the oppositions first attack more often than not". I doubt any league does this
Bravo is top of the keeper sweeper league, so maybe that's one point of him, he in the middle of clean sheets and goals conceded 7th in throw-outs 2nd in distribution league He has also for the past 3 seasons out performed Hart and has cost us less goals, through out and out mistakes, than Stones but he didn't replace a so called club legend. I'm not saying he's the answer, clearly wasn't Pep's first choice, but he's ours and its about time so called City supporters accepted that Hart has gone. Lets face it Hart gets better every week that passes by

Funny reading some of the posts on here after a defeat. Just read the KDB page, he went from being called the best player in the premier league to a soft wanker who can't hit a straight pass.. hilarious!!
Nail on the head. I wonder how many posters on here even go to games.

I posted on one of the other threads yesterday but this one seems more appropriate.

We have the basis of a very good team but you're only as good as your weakest link and that at the moment is a complete lack of pace, energy and competitive edge in midfield and from our fullbacks. A couple of quick, young and hungry players in the summer transfer window will transform the team, squad and way we play just like Klopp needed a year or so with Liverpool to get the blend he wanted. Even then it's going to take time to get that consistency.

Pellegrini also failed with the same squad. And this is 12 months on.

I defy any manager in the world to get Zabaleta and Toure to be an effective defensive midfield. But due to injury, suspensions we have mo alternatives

Injury to Kompany means Stones has had to come into the team and hold defence together. He can't. Yet.

But going forwards, when the defensive problems are sorted we will are ready to destroy teams. We have the forward players in place for our future who are as good as any.

Bravo will come good as well. He is getting lumbered with a lot of criticism, but very few of the recent goals are down to him. I wish it was that simple as changing a keeper.

I like your optimism mate. I hope what you foresee comes to pass, I really do.
