lol . someone is always bring up saves at Chile and shit. desperation I call it.

He's a City player who has only been at the club four months.

Four months.

And you're calling City fans desperate for hoping he will turn his form around and looking at his achievements over a much larger timeframe.

If you want desperate then I find City fans who write one of our own off after just four months to be a pretty desperate situation.

And in any case - even if those fans are desperate and their faith is ultimately misplaced - I'd rather be that fan than one who castigates and dismisses a player after a matter of months with a new team in a new league.

4 months? I could tell after 4 minutes.

The fact you made your mind up after 4 minutes says everything.

especially considering his first 54 minutes for us were exceptional, and the derby still remains one of the best examples of how much his play with ball at feet can help us if he gets his keeping back in order.

Totally agree.

Thanks mate, very well said.
It's good to know there are still some lads out there who are holding up basic values like respect even in the anonymity on the web.
It's getting really worse on here.
We urgently need a next match.

Just wait until Sunday. It's quite likely that United leapfrog us, as they're odds-on to beat Stoke and Spurs must be favourites to beat us.

The lad needs a match winning performance against spurs and a clean sheet. If he has it it will do his confidence the world of good. I believe Pep clearly saw more in him than he has shown so far for us. So surely he's due a good performance? No doubt pochetino will set his side to counter attack us with the pacey full backs they have. With our defence as it is he will get tested by Spurs. However as others on here have pointed out we also need to take our chances at the other end, where the goals have dried up.

the league is being manufactured for rags success, all sorts of offsides etc going their way, inc match scheduling. sadly for the FA Chelsea and co have not read the script, only we have. which is why Pep has to grow a pair and give willy a run out. easier games after spurs so lets cash in.

I get the feeling you don't like/rate Bravo bill,is this correct?

A clean sheet? don't put a penny on that

At the time I thought it was a lot of money we paid for a goalkeeper of his age we didn't really need but with the appointment of Pep I couldn't argue.
Perhaps Joe should have stayed and fought for his place rather than put his England career first.

Or the World's best manager for that matter...
Every great manager makes mistakes. The worlds best should realise it. Hate to say it but Fergie was the best because he acknowledged mistakes and acted. Taibi for instance

What about the first goal? That wasn't exceptional was it?

What he did before doesn't matter,it's what he is doing in a blue shirt that alarms people, lets hope he gets his act together soon but the prem is relentless as we know, the opposition are targetting him as the weak link and it's only going to get worse, let's hope he has the gonads for it
I never said it makes a difference to how hes playing how, but a little humility wouldnt go amiss would it?

But apparently bing positive and optomistic is being a happy clapper and a bigger blue
