His kicking today was shite. If he set anything up it was by pure accident. He might as well close his eyes when he punts it. Maybe he does?
Sounds a bit like your writing in fairness. 'f*ck the game, I'll have a guess according to my preconceived ideas.' This time you might just have missed 'your man' - an aimless boot into the stands?

Sorry but if you're blaming him for those goals then you're beyond biased.

He may be a little harsh but I have sympathy for his points.

For the first goal Bravo is completely rooted to his line. The header is from 6 yards. Had he been more commanding and come off his line he could have taken the cross. Having said that, I don't think you can blame Bravo for the first goal.

For the 2nd...he is nowhere near it. There are two reasons for this and this has been shown many times this season. 1 Bravo is not instinctive and is slow to react (age) and 2 Bravo is too short to be a good shot stopper at 6foot. He does not have the reach that you want / need from a GK. he doesn't even get close.

At the end of the day Pep has gone for a keeper whose primary strength is as our first line of attack (distribution and possession from the back) when I and many others want a keeper whose primary purpose and strength is last line of defence.

He is an absolute liability of a defensive keeper hence why those that agree with the Pep will talk about his distribution and passing accuracy.

When you have a liability of a back four (which we do this year) you really need the opposite "style" of keeper to what Bravo is.

Not sure I blamed him per se, but gave reasons for why he and City continue to let easy goals in that other keepers would do better with (2nd today).

I do think his lack of height and age are big factors. I guess we can blame his parents rather than Bravo on both counts.

Loris, who gifted us 2 goals today also made a couple of fine saves...fully stretched out. Bravo cannot and would not have made those saves. I think Lloris and other keepers could have done better with Spurs' 2nd today.

either do what we did with Joe and get him warm with some other saves to make, or stop leaving him with the only 2 things to all game being save the pretty damn impossible.

Lloris was the example of shit fucking keeping today. I'd be absolutely soul-destroyed if I was Bravo, it's a wonder he can even turn up these days, must be brutal being him.

who, the fuck, are you?

Thought biggest culprit for Spurs 1st goal was Clichy, gave Walker (I think it was Walker) far too much room to get the cross in.

Thought the second Spurs goal was savable

yes, when it's a 1am and I've been out, smiley faces and big "this is a fucking joke BJL_City" are required.

You can't expect me to be intelligent all of the time. Fuckwittery is par for the course as far as I'm concerned.

p.s. neon signs are preferable.

biased?
i was pointing out facts.
yes it was the defences fault that spurs were able to shoot but bravo simply didnt position himself like a decent keeper should have to give him any chance of saving it. not coming off his line to claim a ball on the edge of the 6 yard box.....he doesnt think quick enough...he doesnt command. not all his fault today but still part of the problem.

He's been here five months now, he's had long enough.
Let's be fair he was questionable for quite a while before he arrived. And many a discussion on here wondered if even at half the price he was worth it.

Let's also be fair and state that a truely decent or promising player is pretty evident in far less than 5 months. Garcia was clearly poor within 5 months and no extra time improved him greatly (bar an odd game here and there), same for Fernando, same for Mangala (in most people's eyes), same for Sinclair and Delph and many others before them. We lived in hope for many but I can't think of any that suddenly changed people's minds when given more time. Should we continue to make the same mistakes of misplaced loyalty?

We get some things wrong sometimes, Bravo and Stones are two. IMO at least - based on my eyes rather than my heart.

he should have come off his line for the 1st......and for the second if he was positioned more central he should have got a hand to it
Do you really and truly believe that? I fucking despair sometimes!

1st goal poor from geal, but bravo should have been anticipating the area the ball was heading for. There was nobody coming onto the front stick so being rooted to the spot like he was was poor. I'm not saying he could have saved it, but no movement until the ball is past him is poor.
2nd goal, just the usual, acres of space for the Spurs player, bad defending, but again bravo doesn't even stretch for it. It's almost like he has resigned himself for the ball to go in.
This guy is fucking shot confidence wise and he has got himself into a right mess. I believe his agony will be ended at the seasons finish.
Just hope he doesn't do too much damage before he does go.
Bring back Joe for next season. Bravo is distributing like Joe now anyway, just not saving like him.

Hart won't be coming back but we will be buying another keeper I think. I've yet to see him make a match winning save that only the best could make.

So,even though you recognise the fact neither goal was his fault, neither being saveable, you then criticise him for not making a better effort of not being able to save it!

Lol,YCNMIU.

Bravo isnt the long term answer, that much is clear........but he did fuck all wrong yesterday, and,i'm not directing this directly at you,but at everyone who is determined to find fault, just give the lad a fucking break.

Christ I've seen it all now.

Well said. This is the most depressing thread on blue moon.

2 games 0 saves 6 conceded not good enough I can't blame him for the goals yesterday but keepers make "unsaveable" saves all the time. How many times has aguero done everything right but the keeper made impossible stops. Every keeper needs abit of luck and bravo seems to have none.
