you can't really blame him for the two goals yesterday. they did after all fall between the posts so not much he could do.
our throwing away 2 points was completely down to pep. we were gifted 2 goals off a sorry spurs. with kolorov and clichy in the side to begin with that was a miracle as it was.

Guardiola took a calculated (arguably cynical) decision to exile Hart. Had his man risen to the occasion, he would have got away with it. In the event, Bravo has been useless and hence the gamble has backfired.

Pep may well be the closest thing we have to a footballing god, but Mancs are a critical audience who look after "their own".

A string of good performances would still see Bravo out of the shit. Conversely, the longer the mediocrity continues, the longer this thread will grow.

What Ric described seemed to be another example of a know it all gob shite bandwagoner yet again looking to belittle someone who I personally would describe as "one of our own". The one straight at him at Palace that some claim was amazing and the one straight at him that he tipped over v Burnley at home. Someone said to me today swapping Hart for Bravo due to him being better with his feet is the equivalent of swapping Aguero for Crouch as he is better with his head. It's hard to argue with it. I don't think Hart is the answer either though.

Clearly I can't go through the squad player by player so let me explain in general terms.

"One of ours" was intended to mean more than just someone on our books. It isn't determined by place of birth, race or nationality. It's someone who has earned their spurs through effort, commitment, local empathy, etc. Someone who's adopted us and contributed plenty to the cause. Classic exemplars: Zab, SWP, Micah, The Goat.

Conversely, someone who has no obvious local or club allegiance, or who may have been here five minutes, or contributed little of note and has not neither taken us into his bosom or vice versa is not (yet) "one of us". Classic exemplars: Danny-fcukin-Mills, Wayne Bridge, McMinimum.

Now tell me why that's bizarre. Because your ridiculous obsession with Bravo, which seems to dominate your every working hour and defy everyone else's observations, would strike some as bizarre. (Latter point directed at mossideblue because I know SWPB is now coming round.)

Because any true blue should be acknowledging any player who plays for us as being one of ours. Quite simple really. But your setting your own bar as to who qualifies, so will leave it with you

Someone said to me today swapping Hart for Bravo due to him being better with his feet is the equivalent of swapping Aguero for Crouch as he is better with his head. It's hard to argue with it. I don't think Hart is the answer either though.

If we decided to start playing continual long balls, Aguero would most likely come under threat from a new signing who dominated in the air. I assume the Crouch thing is hyperbole though for obvious reasons.

And Claudio wasn't bought because he's better with his feet, he was bought because he was more suitable with his head. By that I mean he's previously shown himself to have borderline superhuman composure, something the fiery and ever pumped-up Joe has always lacked.

Unfortunately, that is one of Bravo's attributes which has continually been in the decline during his time with us.
