Claudio Bravo - 2016/2017 performances (continued)

I think you misunderstood. He wasn't criticising him he was supporting him. It was the irony of his statement I was commenting on.

The most ironic part is Willy turned it round and Bravo is more than capable if supporters stopped getting on his back.

It has been very odd, we concede barely any shots but a fair few of the ones we are conceding are very good shots that are going in. He is conceding some easy goals, I cant deny it but every goalkeeper concedes some easy ones.

We are conceding barely any shots for him to save and get some confidence.

I have seen enough of him for Chile and Barca to know that he is a good goalkeeper, I wonder if we will get to see it.

to you it might be because its the truth. I have resigned myself to the fact if the ball is on target we concede. now forgive me for bringing you down to earth but that is EXACTLY what happens game after game. even you with your dreamt up stats and pathetic deflection from the point can't deny it.

near me fans were singing "are you Bravo in disguise" at Loris.

dress it up all you like. he's not good enough.
This

His diving is weird, he dives but doesnt actually go anywhere, no spring in them...I don't think he would of saved Silva's shot that was heading in the bottom corner if he was in goal for Tottenham for example as his dive wouldn't of eaten enough up ground up to of got there.

The BBC don't like him.

"It was another weekend to forget for Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who has now gone 180 minutes since saving a shot on target in the Premier League. The Chile international could do little about either of Tottenham's goals as City..."

Profit hunting journos contradicting themselves. BBC, how low can you go?

Next week it will say: "A nightmare of a match for City star player Kolarov after not converting any single chance. Well, he didn't have any chance but he also didn't score, week after week. Will Pep drop him finally?"

If a keeper can't even reach a ball he surely can't make "great saves".
It's getting even more ridiculous.

when he dives for a ball he dives in an arc and when he comes out for a one on one instead of making himself big he turns his body sideways he did this twice against everton. What is our goalkeeper coach doing?

I thought the same thing.

In the Premier League Bravo has conceded 27 goals from 64 shots on target (42%). However since the Chelsea game, he has conceded 16 goals from 26 shots on target (62%).

The media and social media witch hunt surrounding him has been ridiculous. If anyone in any walk of life was constantly told that they were shit at their job, then over time I’m sure it would affect their performance.

His confidence looks completely shot and I am not surprised to be perfectly honest. I assume a huge factor of this will be his treatment from the stands and the fact that there are so many fans looking to make him the scapegoat.

However, as thoroughly disappointing as it is, dealing with this and other pressures is entirely on him as a professional. He's not the first to get unfair treatment and unfortunately he won't be the last.

Just watched Liverpool on MOTD, Bravo would have been blamed for 2 Swansea goals certainly.
Likewise, 3 shots on target 3 goals. I wonder if they'll be a full page spread on it..
