Bill, you keep saying he has been our weakest player but, forgetting your view, who is saying that? I for one don't believe for one moment those in the club think that. I see that label pinned on him only by fans who only view stats and take them as being black and white. If you allow pl quality forwards time and space at close quarters I would expect them to score irrespective of the keeper. I'm not saying he doesn't need to improve, but he is imo not our biggest problem by a long shot. I agree we need top4 but pinning failure to achieve on one person is ridiculous

The entire football industry know he's our main weakness. Opponents target him. Other fans laugh at him. Ex players including blues are questioning his inclusion. It's so glaringly obvious that your stance is frankly very odd.

Ps. I didn't say top rested entirely on one player.

There are lots of weaknesses in our defense. It'd be nice to think that Pep would have had it all figured out by now. Most of it was obvious before he arrived and even more so as the season progressed.

To be fair to Bravo who I think was a bad signing it's Pep and the back room team's fault why it's all a shambles.

There are too many weak links to blame just one. But I'd have expected us to have tried to tackle some. (Bring in a kid, change style of play, sign a player, etc) Pellegrini's weakness too was unrelenting loyalty.

Chile's back four protect him too I take it? and make him look so good that he gets the captain's armband.

You'd also have to wonder why Barca signed him in the first place if he's a fraud, you'd think he wouldn't even be on their radar if he was a fraud, surely? And then you consider that they offered him improved terms to stay. The evidence is mounting up here on just how much of a fraud he is. I won't mention that he was named as the best keeper in the last two Copa Americas, oh wait, I just did but that's irrelevant, we all know he's a fraud.

Because he was the cup keeper. As in Bravo played league games and ter Stegen played cup games. Bravo played in the club cup final because ter Stegen was injured.

Bravo has been a consistent performer for years for Sociedad, Barca and Chile. He's just in very bad form right now.

So you're picking and choosing stats to suit your argument. The stats you use aren't specific to a goalkeeper either, so yes it is a fail.

Barcelona's first choice keeper was a fraud now.

I can understand why some fans don't rate him to date.
What I fail to understand is the hatred. The desperation of some City fans to try and prove he's a 'fraud' and discredit all he's achieved.
Not even interested in giving him time and desperate to blame him when he's actually played well, much like Saturday.
