People with no connections to Manchester following a football team because they haven't got much going on in their life and telling me to 'fuck off back to stockport'. It's junction one on the M60 you uneducated buffoon.

I think that our flying start to the season had them prepared for another season of indifference behind us and the Dippers particularly when we wiped our arses on them in the Derby match.
They now feel that they've got a free pass and that it was all part of some master plan all along but we have the more scope for improvement than they do and I expect the gap between us to grow between now and the end of the season.
Their dream scenario would be to win a Cup or two and keep both us and Pool out of the CL places with them and the 3 London teams qualifying.
Even with a shitload of help from their pals I think they're going to be disappointed in the end.

For me, it's the wide number of united fans who pontificate about their club's history when they palpably know so little about the club that pre-dates the early 90's. I've lost count of the number of times one of their supporters has followed up such boasts with a subsequent demonstration of their pitifully deficient knowledge on the subject matter; which is a shame, as if they took a little time to read up on the subject, they might learn a little fucking humility.

Oh, and dodgy meat.

I love bumping into Barnsley rags in the pub. When I tell them I support City I get called a glory hunter. These days instead of putting them right I just tell them I used to support the rags but they're shit now, so I support City. They don't like it one bit.

Stockport is much closer to Manchester than Surrey etc. And there are just as many support the rags as support City in Stockport. It pisses off Stopfordian rags when some tosser from Devon comes out with the Stockport shit.
 
David Gill, why not write about things that are relevant and can actually be scrutinised and make a difference? talking about their fans is playground talk and doesn't ask the right questions, imo.
