I'm just astonished that anyone in control of their faculties would use that word to describe him. I understand his appeal to some; he's an antidote to anodyne career politicians and it seems that he's intent on following through with his election promises (which it's difficult to argue is beyond the pale) - and it isn't beyond the bounds of reason to suggest he will be fondly regarded by large parts of the States after he has left office - but he is a wholly and fundamentally dishonest man. I don't get as worked up about that as others- some of the most interesting and likeable people I have ever met are hugely dishonest in a legal sense, but I'm astonished that you, or anyone else would use that word to describe him. He lies all the time and is seemingly impervious to what people think about that. In that limited sense I would say there is something to admire about him, as it demonstrates his manifest resilience - but it doesn't make him an honest man.
