Not really. It depends what newspaper is involved. I would contend that papers like the Mail and the Express have an entrenched Little Englander agenda, and whilst the main driving forces of the endless articles on Sterling are part economic (clickbait for pea brained rags and dippers) and part personal, the fact that Sterling is black and not born in the UK is undoubtedly an added bonus for them, a chance to reinforce a stereotype in the minds of their readers as we saw when The Sun airlifted that photo of him into an unassociated story about a drug dealer
