West Ham - Post match thread

Great performance esp sanè could have gone for more goals to try goal difference better as that could be the difference this season but great team display . And bet mancini was impressed watching from the stands

Great weekend

3 world class players needed, 2 full backs and a keeper, and we'll be unstoppable

1- How many penalties have Raheem won for us this season from playing on the right side ? When he plays on the right he become world class, on the left he become useless.

2- it seems Leroy Sane has booked the left forward position for now, his performance was amazing. For me he deserve the MOTM award.

3- Gabriel Jesus has done well, he remind me of Carlos Tevez. Hard working talented warrior.

4- Silva & KDB proved again they perform better when they play in the middle as CMs and not upfront as Left/Right forwards.

5- Sagna deserve full mark.

6- Willy should keep his place.

7- We should put a Not for sale sign for Yaya.

Gotta say, Pep's unknown quality is drawing talent we couldn't touch if he wasn't at the mast. I could easily see Jesus in Spain right now. Bless this man!

Pep: "The gap is too big, just Chelsea can lose the Premier League. But we'll fight until the last day to qualify for the Champions League."
Well, a breath of fresh air compared to that delusional obnoxious PEG twat down the road. Lets see what happens.
( BTW Kaz, Happy Birthday -- and be gentle with Bobby when he turns up at yours tonight!)

4 shots on target, 4 goals. At the right end this time, about time, and lovely.

Can we do it to somebody other than West Ham now, that's the question, the pace we played at when we went full tilt is simply unplayable. If we keep that up and annihilate teams early, we can still do anything this season, but we have to do it every game.

Funny that it took 70 mins before Hoddle could say something positive, the guy is an utter c.unt, a truly pathetic city-hating pundit.

Just been reading KUMB. Who is the City fan on there called 'btajim'? He's been on there for years but ffs, comments like this are not just wrong, they are insulting.

"Numerous Blue friends who still hold a candle for Roberto Mancini were retweeting him earlier as he was in London with one of his sons. I note he's at the match now. Do you think he's been tapped up by West Ham? He was unscrupulous enough to steal Mark Hughes' job and one suspects he'd do the same with your club."

What a wanker.

Sergio's scored 18 in 24 for Pep. Don't lose sight of the fact that the average age of the front three tonight is 20. KDB is 24/25 - talking about young players !! Sergio is still our main man - the player who will go toe-to-toe with the Bayerns, Barcas and the two Madrids. He's 28 and in his prime. You can play expansive against West Ham, but you can't do that against the big four in Europe.

You maybe can't play as expansive, but I'd say that trio would be even better agaisnt teams that would attack. Them three would be lethal in a counter attacking set up.

Stone & Oti looked a hell of a lot better though not tested greatly.

a lot more disciplined I thought, the constant press at the front because of our pace helped, but Ota won the ball back a couple of times just by staying on his feet and not diving in. Maybe Vinnie back has refocused minds and his active presence throughout training has helped bring the level of the others back up.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on striker Gabriel Jesus: “It’s like watermelons. You have to open to see if it’s good or not. But he’s had a good mentality, so aggressive. He has dreams. He wants to become something in world football.”

Can you get inflatable watermelon segments? Would look great with the bananas

has to be a WUM ? no blue would post/think that about Mancini

Otamendi's passing today was ridiculous. No other CB in the league is capable of that except Stones and maybe Van Dijk.

By the way, if we win both our next two games and Chelsea win neither, then the title race is back on. However with the future we've got, I'd be happy with 2nd or 3rd come the end of the season.

Such fine margins in football, Score a penalty against Everton at home, KDB scores instead of hitting the bar against Spurs and a draw at home to Chelsea and we would be 5 points better off while Chelsea 2 points worse off.

A 7 point swing and the table would be so different.

definite grounds for an appeal I reckon
