The walkway between the foot of the wall that the screens are on, and where the current metrolink steps are (circled in red):
I had originally (incorrectly) assumed that the screens would be visible from there.
Ahh yeah, they're definitely designed with the people 'further back' in mind. The walkway between the end of the 'claws' and Metrolink queues won't provide any view at all.
Visited the site yesterday and when stood on Blue Moon Way, you don't have much distance to view where the eventual big screens will be on the ends of the 'claws' as the view is obstructed by the white roof of the metrolink queuing areas. Unless it's going to be 'really' high up...
They can't rehouse the Olivia Rodrigo gigs at the AO because that was sold at capacity (23,500). Keane and Boogie... were already less than capacity so makes sense for them to move to AO.
Had 6 letters from suppliers in the last month, ALL of them were price increases. Fortunate enough to be able to swallow them but how are people surviving who haven't got any wiggle room in their budget? Depressing.
Amsterdam ArenA and Ziggo Dome are on the same site and frequently have the same egress times (night game with night concert) and the process is seamless. Albeit it with a greater use of public transport and having public transport that is adequately funded.
For those Blues going to Turf Moor, make sure you get the Gvardiol song going on the concourse!
Is it my imagination,
Of have I finally found football worth living for,
Pep went shopping for Croatians,
And brought us back Kovacic and Gvardiol....
So we've been given the West End of the stadium, yet the official parking is in the Pink Car Park that is the East Side of the stadium. Make it make sense...
