Gutted for Mary Fowler. The injury brings her best ever season to a premature end and starts the speculation as to how long she will be out. Has to be odds on that she'll miss the whole of next season. I'm glad they are researching possible causes for this tsunami of ACLs in women's football. If...

I was gutted we didn't get Hemp when she left Bristol. I attended her penultimate game for Bristol at Stoke Gifford against us. When she walked off the pitch that day everyone knew she was leaving but not where she was going. I don't buy all the claims that Chelsea have dominated the league in...

Weir is able to dribble, can keep the ball in tight spaces, picks a pass, and carries a goal threat. I can't speak for City but she would make a bigger difference for Chelsea than Walsh does in my opinion.

This is the ex City player we (Chelsea) should have bought in January.

I think your players have to find the motivation to give everything for the remainder of the League season. Achieving Champions League qualification is essential for the standing of the club and for the prospects of recruiting the calibre of player you are all saying you hope to see brought in...

Maybe it would have been if it wasn't for our absences. :) In his pre match conference, Nick Cushing made the absolutely fair point that you were without your starting centre forward, your starting left winger and your leading centre back. Nick spoke the truth, and in doing so was perhaps...

CL QF 2nd leg chelsea (A) Thu Mar 27th 20:00

I fully expected Arsenal to beat Real. We (Chelsea) played them in the group stages, played poorly in the home fixture and very poorly away, but won both games anyway. If the draw had been kinder there might have been three WSL teams in the semi-finals.

To be fair, your men's team has generally blitzed the league and set records left, right, and centre, including many you have taken from us. (Chelsea) In contrast, our women's team has a chance to win this season's WSL by more points than the total combined winning points margins over the last...

It does make me smile all the ways you'll find to refer to the other team with Manchester in its name. Me, I laugh uncontrollably every time Spurs lose. When they lose to Chelsea I laugh for a month. I have had to come to terms with the fact that it makes me happy when bad things happen to...

You don't need a win on Thursday, but you do need to qualify for next season's Champions League. I think Cushing will push hard for the win today. Bear in mind that he will have watched all of Chelsea's recent performances, and at first-hand over the last week. He can have no reason to doubt his...

Very well summed up in my opinion. It used to be that the lower age limit for participating in a senior game was 15. I don't know if this has changed but I saw that a 14 year old made her debut in an NWSL fixture this week. In that spirit, I'd love City to play their under 12 reserves today...

I hope you are right but I'm sure you saw the game on Saturday so 'no chance' sounds well wide of the mark. P.S. Waslh is available for tomorrow so we're only without three starters.

At time of writing I hadn't seen any updated availabilities ahead of the WCL Quarter-Final 1st Leg tie but on Saturday we (Chelsea) were without four starters, two important backups, and several other players too. There wasn't a lot of depth left. We'll see if that improves for tomorrow.

I totally agree with you but, generally speaking, I'm not a fan of playing the 'if' game. Every team has its own set of ifs. For example, we were without four starters on Saturday plus the first choice backup for one of those absentees. Could any of our missing players have made as big an impact...
