First away game.

Rotherham in August 1963.

City won 2-0 with two goals from Derek Kevan.

Huddersfield 1997. Think it was when City 'Till I Die was first taking off and before every other set of supporters in the country picked it up. 1-1 draw and Steve Lomas scored for us.

We were all set to go down to Walsall in 63 for an FAC3 game. Train ticket bought for about 1/3d, pay on the gate, and then things got a bit chilly. Couldn't go to the game when it was finally re-arranged. That was the season the 'Pools Panel' came into being. Can't remember whether we ever won a game with those 'experts'!

Everton league Cup 1987/88 season. Remember we all got herded to edge hill station afterwards and had a bit of trouble with the old bill. I was only 15 and a little perturbed!!

Huddersfield away, we drew 1-1, at Leeds Road. Hell, it was a long time ago.

Eheu fugaces, labuntur anni.....

It was United away in the Cup - think about 1986?, so would have been 11.

Whiteside scored and we lost 1-0 - that cheating little shit Jesper Olson diving on the edge of the penalty box and our lads stopped.

Now that was an away following.
January 87, was in the stretford end, paid a fiver for £2-75p ticket imre banana had a goal disallowed,
Blues all over the swamp a few doing the plane
