Cricket World Cup 2019 - England World Champions!!!

To all intents and purposes, your "easily" includes having to buy millions of pounds worth of additional equipment, just for potential rain delays - and if that happens on the days there are two games, that's two lots of that millions of pounds worth of equipment you're talking about. This is before all the other staffing issues and so on.

It's also odd this idea that it only rains in England. Rainfull in June is less than many other countries during their cricket seasons.
I like his idea of being flexible to convert games to day and night tough ..the extra cost for that should be bearable

Great catch but looking at it again does the ball just clear the boundary rope?

As far as I understand the rules, it doesn't matter if the ball breaks the plane of the boundary, as long as it doesn't hit the ground, or that a fielder doesn't put his foot/arm/whatever on the ground while in contact with the ball. If that is the ruling, the catch is fine.

Quite right. Not only that, what about the poor punters again? Christ we moan that there might be time added on to 90 minutes so playing four hours later or tomorrow is a ridiculous idea.
