That Indian innings was a marvel to watch. Atmosphere at the Oval looked brilliant too; like a home game for the Indians. I only saw the last 20 overs, but to see the Australia bowlers Stark and the rest taken to the cleaners like like was extremely satisfying!
This is 5th time in wc bails didn’t fall ..disgracefully...icc should look into zee or whatever they call their fancy light bail
The notch is to deep make it shallower they will fall off easy fix.

They worked well enough for 150 odd years when made from wood. Technology eh. That said, what are they making bats from these days? Noticed how many have cracked and been replaced by at crease batsmen?

Still mainly willow but the pressing process to get them them so dense also weakens them, you get tail enders with 5 or 6 bats now quite mad really.
