Another ridiculous ruling I discovered today.

Who is shouting and ranting... Seeing as your making it up as you go along and talking shite, I was simply pointing out the inaccuracies of your post, clearly something you still don't grasp...

Your whole tone is still aggressive and confrontational and I have come to the conclusion you are just here to have an argument, for no other reason than you are a thoroughly unpleasant piece of work who would start an argument in an empty house. Well continue it inside your empty head as I will not respond further you're just on the wum. If you take that attitude out into the real world and not online I bet you often find yourself on the end of a lot of pain.

Why the discrimination re tablets?

Dont think there is one, I took 2 into the ground yesterday just incase I needed them with all the shouting and cheering that I thought was going to go on.
I didn't need them unfortunately

I realise these guys have an role to play in the sum of the days events, however some manner and less attitude would be nice.

I was abruptly ordered to open my coat whilst queueing at the ground by some cnut with a plastic wand and a security jacket, no please, no smile, no eye contact, just a barked out order. "OPEN". Feck me, I thought I was crossing a border!! When he ordered me to turn around I was a bit angered as a paying customer with no previous criminal record and a bit older than him. I reminded him of his manners, he apologised once out of his boredom trance.

It's just manners and sadly the day got no worse.

City go out of their way to make a match going experience, then give someone authority who doesn't give two shots about their role on the day.

I honestly don't know, but it does specify tablets and not laptops. The best I can come up with is that you could technically stream the game from inside the ground (though really there is fuck all difference between a tablet and a phone nowadays)?

So I am on my way out of the south stand today when I realised I had left the latest issue of king of the kippax in a plastic bag under my seat. I literally had one foot out of the exit so quickly about turned to return and get it. I was immediately clotheslined across my chest with some force by a female steward snarling I couldn't go back in once I had left. I think my momentum and the force she thrust her arm out, meaning i was hit with some power shocked her as she quickly apologised for hitting me but said she couldn't let me back in. I replied that was ridiculous, I had left something under my seat it would take me seconds to go and get it. No I was not allowed back in! Luckily for me the head steward, the rasta guy who is a decent chap, overruled her but had to escort me back to my seat and wait, then ensure I left.

What the fuck is it with stewards and treating football fans, who are paying customers by the way, like some sort of criminal to be shoved and denied a simple request to return and get something they have left behind? Who makes up such a stupid rule anyway? I get you can't have loads of fans traipsing back into the stadium willy nilly but surely common sense should be applied when someone has forgotten something? She didn't know what I had left and wasn't interested, it was she had her orders and no way was I going back in. Kudos to the head steward for showing some common sense but I was still treated as if I was doing something wrong. He even said, " I have had a word Barbara" as I left. Going to a game these days is like being a visitor to a cat A prison!

And we still have that silly old Begger on entrance C asking fans to empty their pockets. One shown him a bag of toffees! Obviously always been a jobsworth.

Empty their pockets??? Not met that one yet thankfully. In the end when the aggravation becomes greater than the reward people give up.

I take an iPad tablet into most matches and have done so for years. I use it to watch the lunchtime match and/or the evening match on the train. We have never been challenged.

The similarity between a large mobile phone and a small tablet shows this rule to be a nonsense and presumably the security staff are taking account of this.

You're the one who was gobbing off about "All you wankers complaining about stewards" when this thread hasn't really been that much of a hatchet job on stewards at all. For me, the OP made an entirely reasonable point and yet here you are twisting it like fuck and grouping him in with the worst behaved fans. You need to wind your fucking neck in sunshine because I very much doubt you'd have the balls to mouth off to his face

Gobbing off, you need to wind your neck in...

We had it last year when one of my sons needed the toilet and they wouldn't allow us back in

My lad was only 9

Management eventually turned up and escorted us to a toilet and had to wait until lad had finished.
