Emery Sacked

the key is to have a top draw coach under a top manager and its a partnership and one works of the other. sadly the coach gets offered a job on the back of being in that partnership and thinks its easy and jumps at the offer, but a couple of weeks into the new job and the heat is on him being the manager. he's not got nobody to turn like when in that partnership when he was just the coach
It’s called the ‘Brian Clough Conundrum’.

Which is another reason why I think Arsenal might go for him. Save for the most embittered Spurs fans, most recognise he is a good manager and capable of getting better out of teams.
It was rumoured that Spurs sacked Poch quicker that they'd have liked in order to get Mourinho before Arsenal grabbed him. Perhaps Arsenal played them and were just waiting for Poch? It's a funny old world the football manager roundabout.

They haven't peroperly invested in the squad since the early 2000s and still expect to be challenging at the top of the table and blame the manager if they aren't.

Both us and Liverpool have to go away to Arsenal and Spurs, so North London is going to be key to the title race.

or the malcolm allison

top coach under joe mercer and it worked because both new there jobs and role at the club. but malcolm always wanted the top job and become a manager and sadly its not like that. malcolm was light years ahead of anybody at being coach to players. but being a manager he knew nothing and could not do it because you need a cold heart and a iron fist and not care that much about the players other than wanting the results, but the job of being manager is cruel and you can not have that thing with the players and you need to tall them the truth because they will sell you up the river in a flash and your job of manager is gone

its good cop bad cop and a coach has the players back when working with them from day to day, the coach is the best job in football and even in the modern day game its the top coaches that gets the best results. managers are not so lucky if results don't go your way and its his head on the block, so that trust in a good coach is needed

pep is a great manager but just have a look at the coaching team behind him. mark my words pep he knows the score and pep has that cold heart and iron fist about him. just ask's joe hart and a couple more of the old school city team the day pep turned up at man city
