Emery Sacked

The idea that Potch will go there is absurd. Can you imagine the approach “hi, do you know the job you did at Spurs. Can you do that for us? And also with no money”

The reason he did the job at Spurs is so he could get a better one and Arsenal isn’t really what he has in mind - I think he’ll be off to PSG

Arsenal is toxic place. The only reason to go there to be their manager is to have a good wages. And that's if you're not to worried about getting your reputation damaged.

Disagree with that. They're a big club and currently punching well below their weight. Whoever took over from Wenger was going to be on a hiding to nothing, but their board showed in the summer that they're finally willing to back the manager (higher net spend than Spurs), so if they appoint someone half decent and give him that same level of support, I'd expect to see them pushing for a top four position.

AFTV funny as fuck as expected, the desperation is so apparent, that cock DT who always has nice things to say about us, calling for Poch, who was a bottler a few months ago according to that gobshite.

Funny thing is they have 1m subscribers on youtube and 90% of them are signed up for the entertainment factor, hope they finish mid table at best.

Every chance as well.

They'd have been better employing Dick Emery, love it me this lot going on,and as for that gaff's red seats last night ? Jesus ! and they slate us,fuck um

Would surprise me if Pep publicly confirmed it was his last season rather than ride out his contract - would seem a subtle difference but not publicly weighing in on it would prevent him from the dead man walking scenario which no coach likes to operate in

If I had to guess, either privately Arteta would be told he would assume from Pep or Mikel will move on - I suspect latter but probably depends greatly on where Arteta would prefer to be
I didn’t mean PUBLICLY! None of this would be for public consumption!

They are big club but for a decade a toxic one. Their fans are similar to those in East Europe where pressure on team is just too big.

Not sure toxic is the correct word. They've certainly been in decline since moving to the Emirates, but I consider it a comparatively benign place for players, and the owners have shown scant regard for the fans; indeed, there is a school of thought that the board was moved more by the empty seats than any disquiet from those few occupied. They're a club that has yet to find an identity since moving, and they arguably need a manager now who can help them find that.
