Good first half by far the better team, should have been a couple of goals ahead on balance.

Second half, what happened? Passing went to pot and United took confidence from our shaky patch and then nerves set in. We got some control back about 10 mins before Silva came on and United didn't threaten much after Silva came on besides a freekick needlessly given away... I had to just laugh how Bravo manages to make himself look smaller by crouching down before the kick is taken.

I think people are giving United far too much credit though, City created their own problems and even in their best period of the game they barely created a chance, can't remember too many in the whole game.

The second half is probably down to pressure due to a slender goal advantage.

After the first half of the first leg we were pretty poor in the final third. We desperately need rid of Otamendi and Stones. Otamendi can play well for 89 and then made a ridiculous decision like his foul on Maguire. Stones isn’t strong enough physically or mentally for us.

Still don’t understand why Pep won’t rest Sterling. He is woefully out of form. His decision making and finishing have gone to pot.

When we get taken out of our rhythm we struggle to reimpose ourselves and it’s been like that a lot in the big games for a while.

Wish Pep would play our best eleven which almost certainly does not include either Bravo or Sterling and one more thing stop trying to walk the ball into the net

There was a point in the second half where we had them in the ropes , there backs were turned they were under pressure and the crowd were roaring us on to score. Rags looked scared.

what did we do , we passed it back then along the back four back again into gundagon who passed it back to the centre half and walk around until it eventually went back to bravo. Rinse and repeat.

msybe that’s why the atmosphere is a bit flat sometimes it’s hard to get behind the team when they are passing it back k and forth to each other on the half way line.

Inexcusable finishing today. As much as I love Merlin, that is a pass from 5 yards into an empty net but to pass it square is criminal.
Sterling shouldn’t be given a place in the 11 for a while. Make him earn his place.
Being beat by those cnuts twice is shocking.
Possession etc count for fcuk all if we don’t score more than the opposition. Losing to 10 man Ushited is even worse.
How can we have dropped so far????! Dreading the RM game.
