Just out of interest how do they become good enough? Was Gomez and TAA good enough when they first walked into the side?

If he'd had his way we'd have Sanchez, jorginho and Fred gracing our ranks whereas Rodri ,mahrez and cancelo are average EPL players, we should be buying the best. we lose Vinny and have David,Kun ,Fern ,Gundogan tripping over their bus passes,little real star talent coming from inside the Club and we look less like a Team than in the past 8 year. The lack of real planning replacing Silva, Aguero, Kompany is concerning. No proper left back either...

The advances in sports science and increased levels of professionalism shown by players translates to greater longevity for top class players thus youngsters can’t force their way in in their late teens like was once the case. I’m sure they’ll both get sufficient game time to aid their development if they warrant it.

Also I think your being harsh with saying they aren't good enough, Garcia has done a job every time he's been put on the pitch, Foden played well for 2 games and then got dropped

I hope you are right, but the difference between an old player and young player is typically experience. If we can get the young players experience before the end of the season it strengthens our squad for next year. Its a no brainer really,

Not expecting to see them every week but more often would be ideal.

Squad yep, team no. Much prefer Kyle to taa and prefer our options at centre half to Gomez on balance
