Bob Dylan

Love Dylan but tend to prefer covers of his songs over the originals - an example would be if not for you George Harrison - great song writer

Never saw him live, but Blood On The Tracks is one of my favourite albums of all time. Having said that, much as I like him, I can see why people make comments about his voice & I’m fine with it. I love Neil Young even more than Dylan, and I’m used to comments like that about him.

Lay Lady Lay, is an extraordinarily vocal performance, as it doesn’t even sound like him (in a good way ;-)
Throughout his career he's adopted quite a few variations of his voice, currently he's in Sinatra-style crooner mode.

Saw him at the Free Trade Hall 65/66. Part of the audience behind him onstage. Got in free, too lazy today, lying in the sun, to go into details but a great show.
