City v PL | Legal Dispute/Appeal

Panja is another one who apparently can't bring himself to identify or use the name of our owner Sheikh Mansour. He just uses the phrase Abu Dhabi (as does Rob Harris in his piece last night for AP). Apart from being inaccurate this dehumanises our owner suggesting he can't be an individual in his own right.
It is basically a racist narrative with the subtext being "they are the all the same you know." You simply don't see this sort of language applied to other foreign owners of football clubs.
I really don't know what Panja's motives are. He is not daft and must know full well that our club is not "owned by a foreign state." Our accounts have been independently audited for the last 13 years and lawyers from UEFA and our sponsors and investors have all done due diligence on our business model. Even UEFA itself has never said City were "state-owned."
If they identify our owner by his individual name, it causes an obvious split between the required ‘state owned‘ narrative and the reality of our owner being an autonomous human being.
A central plank of the media campaign has been the insistence on our ’state ownership’ which then allows them to associate the club directly with the perceived sins and crimes of a state with which they seem to have a political/cultural issue.
These distinctions matter not a jot to the great unwashed as long as some kind of link can be maintained between our owner and his connection to his country.

Become a little clearer now thanks to Mike Keegan in today's Mail, clearly been given the inside track.

Don't think we have much to worry about at all.

City are objecting to over disclosure. City feel it is a witch hunt that Premier League investigators are demanding access to a wide range of information which we feel is unnecessary and unjust.

City believe a realistic framework should be agreed, within which we are more than happy to cooperate.

Privately, the Premier League's approach has been described by some at City as an 'attempted witch hunt'.

The Premier League don't want it coming out how much of a deep dive they have tried to instigate, which is hardly a surprise.

Essentially, Blues, the Premier League are trying it on and want to see how the club operates, even down to what toilet cleaner we use.
in otherward they fucking hate City being so good on & off the pitch.

If UEFA were fucked what chance have the Premier League got.

They do not want to see a City domination, they are all out to get us everyone & for that reason why the fuck did we agree to join the ESL

Another reason we can afford to go full throttle & sign Grealish & either Haaland or kane, fuckem all 100% stand on there throats don't let them breath.

Another thing don't be surprised to see the UTD v Liverpool after the season has finished they will get proper lucked after, if that was City it would have been on the Monday before Champs League final.
