Not really good enough that mate, 18pints of the black stuff should be a decent afternoon session not 4 days, clearly your not taking it seriously enough

Was pacing myself mate. Thursday I'd 8 pints and a bottle of red wine

Another 4 cold and misty 4 miles this morning before work. Couldn't get long run in yesterday before match so split it. Think that's first time ran 2 days on trot

Olympic Park 10k, around Hammers stadium and the area.
nice flat course. good vibe and crowd.
pleased with my time 50:42 and had to walk a few times briefly.

Good going, mate - I can only dream of a 38 min 10K!

Started my training again for the GMR half marathon today and I'm way off the pace. Notwithstanding that I got a PB last year (1:43 if you must know...) I'd be happy with under 1:50 this year. In my defence, I am a 55 year old FOC.
