11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

Played very well today. Didn't do much different to other games where he's been underpar though. He's all or nothing, sometimes nothing will come off, sometimes enough will and on the rare occasion, everything will. He's always going to be on the edge of having a 9/10 game or a 5/10 with a few moments swinging it either way. That's the player he is, sooner we as fans grasp that the better.

His decision making and end product will improve next season once pep has had the opportunity to get on the training pitch with him and drill things into him

Probably his best game since Bournemouth. Made a lot happen. Could have scored and/or assist a few. The only criticism is that he didn't, so the end product. As others pointed out, though, it will come in time. Well done, Jeremy.

Great idea to let him play in the mid with a lot of freedom vs the defence of big butchers who had problems to stop his quick dribbles, very good first half!
Thought he ran out of steam a bit and played LW 2nd half, when we closed the match for more control.

Great tactical option. Hope we'll see more of that vs similar opponents.

Good positive performance today, some brilliant ball carries beating players with ease. Decision making could be better but that will come. One day its gonna click for this lad and he’s gonna be an absolute star so lets all get behind him and the rest of the boys in blue for the push for a second treble! Come on city

His end product makes Sterling look like Pele. He’s nowhere near good enough in the final third.

That said, if he can improve his end product and keep the rest of his natural ability, he could produce numbers like Saka or even Salah.

He’s frustrating but exciting in equal measure.

Been here 5mins he is 21 in a new country in a new team that is the worlds best and he played well today apart from his decision making in the final 3rd which he can improve!

This knee jerk shite by some fans is called spoiled rotten!

I do like the false winger role he, Bernie or Foden have had this season.

They also seem more comfortable coming inside and looking for runners ahead or making a pass ahead, rather than being shifted wide and stuck there.

Jack did that often, he was wide, but drifted centrally and carried centrally to disrupt opposition lines, draw fouls etc.

It's just weird we have Gvardiol or Walker playing wide, neither of which is really a threat in anyway.
