Phil getting all the plaudits by media ect(fully deserved) but Rodri was our best player this season..
without him we're fighting Villa et al for 4th.

Most passes, most headers, most tackles, 3rd most take-ons, better g/a output than our wingers, tied everything together, controlled every game, 8-9/10 performances the norm so isn't praised for them.

Not a single chink in his armour. Best midfielder in the world.

It's sort of incredible how underrated Rodri is.

He is literally unbeaten in 74 games with City, which must be close to the record in the history of the top leagues in Europe.
