Doing abit of research on YouTube about driving electric cars to france and one of his videos popped up literally finished watching it and saw he'd died on bbc website. Always enjoyed him on top gear

"Count Quentualla" as Clarkson dubbed him because of his widows peak. Skilled and knowledgeable motoring journalist who was more open to EV's than many. Fatal flaw was he always liked a fag so I am not surprised lung cancer got him in the end. Even so to a 64 year old like me 68 seems far too young. RIP Quentin.

Still remember him saying that owning a people carrier was the motoring equivalent of wearing a duffle coat! Also that buying a car from a main dealer, having them service it and replace the tyres was like standing in the street with a fistful of £20 notes and setting fire to them. (I hope the second quote was him, it sounds like him) RIP.
