I’d be tempted to move Pope up to opener and get another batter in, maybe Bethell. Pope is effectively playing as an opener he gets in that early.Might as well have opened with Bashir, at least we'd have shoehorned a spinner in ;)
One other point - how is Boland off the field with his feet up and then allowed to bowl as soon as he comes back on?

The first Archer wicket yesterday was genuinely one of the worst umpire decisions I’ve ever seen.
