Get it sorted ffs. I’m really looking forward to getting immersed in these tests to brighten up a dull English February. Short form cricket doesn’t do that for me. I want the real deal.BCCI in being greedy shocker!!
They pretty much do this every time England or Australia tour India.
They charge ridiculous prices for the rights then Knock the price down just before the tour start. UK and Australia TV companies have got savvy to this and they will wait until the last minute to bid.
This also pisses STAR off who hold the rights for showing test cricket in India as they normally pay double if not triple more than foreign broadcasters

Widely referred to as The Big Three in the sport now, aren’t they.Thought it was only four test matches with India its five! Seems it's only Indian v England Aussies v England Aussies v India home and away have 4+ test matches now in the test match era
