So we are stuck with him forever then, might as well rename the club. Would any other manager be doing any worse than him over the last 18 months. Throw in the turgid football he has us playing and I don't see what we have to lose by replacing him. Watching their number five showboating with ease time and again as he danced around our press in their right corner then chipping it up the wing or nonchalantly pinging it across the back was probably the most entertaining part of the evening .i think it was shape and positional awareness that was very damaging last night. Leverkusen shut us down from the top of the pitch all the way back to their box, admittedly we made it a bit easier for them but they did it all night. Conversely, they played out from defense to wingers or central midfields very easily and repeatedly, with our lads stood miles off them. Off the ball we were as bad as you see a Pep team.
