Russian invasion of Ukraine

I went to Margarita island (part of Venezuela) for my honeymoon
We hired a big fuck off jeep and when we came to fill it up, petrol was 6p a litre

Yes, cheaper than bottled water when I was there, although more than 6p. 90 litres for about $40 in 2009.

Amazingly beautiful country though

Boring **** threatening nukes again:
"If Europe suddenly wants to start a war with us and starts it," Putin said, then it would end so swiftly for Europe that there would be no one to negotiate with in Europe.

That's because we'd all be in Moscow drinking his vodka and eating his caviar

I wonder when the tipping point will be that triggers the various 'stans' and satellites that have taken shit from russia, to invade/settle scores, as they realise there will be little to no resistance left to give?

Colour me shocked!! Flamingos in the new year will bring that little **** back to the table.
Somehow the Ukranians and EU have to up the anti and start being nasty.Start killing more and the little peado bit when his shadow fleet were getting hit..

Firstly, we all know that Ukraine is having a torrid time, however on the Guardian podcast there was an article about how ruSSia is sending more and more unarmed and unprotected men into the meat grinder for them to scavenge helmets and body armour off already dead ruSSians. It's so WW2 battle of Stallingrad

Moldolva is totally weaning itself away from all ruSSian influence and Transnistria is likely to be fully unified with Moldova next year. They've cut off all energy supplies from ruSSia

And the EU has finally designed a plan to stop all imports of ruSSian energy supplies by 2027 which will fuck the ruSSian cunts up so badly as even if they withdrew from Ukraine, it will take years and years for them to build any trust with Europe

And this from Sir Bill Browder

The Wall Street Journal alleges that the real motivation behind Trump’s eagerness to force Ukraine into an ugly surrender is the idea that a lot of people close to him can make a lot of money doing business and deals in Russia. If this is true, beyond the disgusting morality of this and the huge geopolitical risks that it creates, none of these people salivating over their future riches are going to make a penny, and perhaps do a lot worse.
I was once the largest foreign investor in Russia and I can say with certainty that the Russians aren’t going to let anyone profit in any way. They will talk nice at the outset to attract the investment, but once it’s there, they will steal, defraud, arrest, torture or even kill to make sure that no American makes any money. I’ve seen it so many times it’s almost universal. So, this shocking initiative is not only terrible policy, it’s spectacularly stupid business.

Sounds as if things have not changed since a couple of years after the cold war ended.

Perhaps we expected too much at the time but mafia rules. Trying to do business was simply far too risky (financially) and I know a few people who lost 6 figure sums trusting so called agreements.
I am quite few years out of date but certainly Cyprus figured highly for the Russian businesses as it did for some UK businesses.
I think Pres Trump is an admirer of the Putin style of handling their main budgets and feels it could be used within USA.
