I’m not sure it’s only Putin -as there are other extreme Russian/ USSR Nationalists eg Patrushev, Bortnikov, Shoigu in the hierarchy who would probably be next in line anyway. It would need a complete sweep of these people as well.

Russia backed against a Wall as they’ve been told by the Russian Media by the Evil West as they’ve been hearing about all their lives I doubt most of the Russian Youth will doubt the Official Version of events. The appeal to Russian Patriotism is a lesson learned well by amongst others Stalin who is revered to this day by many in the former USSR.
