16 | Rodri 2025/26

Good luck to him at Madrid next season.
That is what you are saying indirectly right?

I hope it doesn't happen, but it's a significant sign if there is truth in it.

If he doesn't sign by March/ April I think he is going and with him only having one year left after this season, I will be astonished if City allow him to run it down.

He will want his £400k a week anyway.

Maybe that's why Khaldoon and Soriano was on a beano to Madrid for the day, to sort out his transfer for next season.

Rumours on Twitter he’s injured again and out till March
I’ve seen those rumours and they’ve genuinely spawned from nowhere. Regardless of whether he’s truly injured, another midfielder is imperative in January

People who know more than Toure (he said yesterday Rodri is "training well") and who also know the medical assessment of the severity of the new injury (out till March)...

"Training well" does not necessarily mean that he's anywhere near ready to come back.
He'll be back when he's right.

Pep said about 10 days ago Rodri needs several weeks to come back. Toure said yesterday he is training very well.

Now I know you dislike Pep, but I couldn't care less.

Your not out until Match when training well in December. The rumore is probably nonsense, not the most reliable of people tweeting it.

On this occasion, I would be inclined to agree with Pep's estimate. Rodri will be a bit away from the required level of fitness after such a long layoff.

Bear in mind that players continue to train even when they have a broken leg. Training very well means in line with the programme set by coaches/physios.

If he's back before January it will be a big risk.
