Absolutely should have
There were numerous challenges worse than the one Foden was booked for that went unpunished, plus the "totting up" of fouls by RM players should have resulted in yellows
I thought the ref was dreadful

The ball was past him when he grabbed Savinho's foot.
Should have been red not yellow.

This is exactly what I was thinking. In no way was that a genuine attempt by Henderson to play the ball. However, given that, I still think that was one of the better referees performance we have seen of late.

I think thats the issue right there, just because he didnt get anything major wrong we assume that makes him a good ref, he missed quite a few absolutely stonewall fouls against us and allowed them to leave one us more than a few times to be fair, he wasnt awful compared to some but not great.

he should have got a second booking just for that but like i said its not like var aint let him away with murder before, that rag sense of entitlement runs deep.

Didn't blow for foul on Cherki, played advantage and Foden scored. Have to give him credit for that. Although, usually the way we are Reffed most Refs wouldn't have given us a foul for the challenge on Cherki anyway so same result with Foden scoring.....They would be hoping the VAR Team would then find some innocuous City challenge x5 minutes earlier to chalk it off...

Just seen Dismal Dermott on Ref Watch.
Clip shown of incident in Norwich v Southampton game where forward got his shot away before being fouled.
Dermot immediately says,Penalty.
Bothroyd says hang on,when it was Foden you said,no foul,he got his shot away.
Dermott's priceless reply,I went home and reflected and agree it should have been a penalty.
No wonder it takes VAR so long,it's taken Dermott FOUR weeks.
