I like it when the subs warming up join in too.

Can’t remember which game but when Sergio was walking off, having been subbed, and was behind the goal when we scored and was waving his arms around!!

Often miss the celebrations when in the ground as too busy jumping up and down myself.
Anfield this season after Raz’s goal....the delight on his face (pity it wasn’t at the kop in front of a slavering mob) and all the players warming up in the corner, he has his detractors on here but Garcia’s face lit up like a blue moon

The look on Mike Doyle's face is priceless!

Love the referees positioning in the first minute hugging the byline, he looks like a Sunday league ref who’s having to run the line as well after the linesman has gone for a pi$$

Just wish he did it at anfield with a full house instead of doing an impression of the invisible man.

Apologies, I know it isn't from our team, but Reguillion's reaction to lamella's goal at the weekend was pretty funny, too.
But yeah, love to see the non-scoring players get just as much joy out of a goal as the person who has just bagged...definitely shows a strong team spirit.
As others have said, Dias always likes to get involved, though to be fair, he dishes out a pair of high 5's (or a high 10) to anyone that does even a half decent clearance or block!! :)
Defo future Captain material, that guy!

Thought I’d bump this old thread. Dunno why ha, but I’ve always enjoyed seeing what players are like when we score.

These days, the biggest celebrators of our goals are definitely Dias, Bernardo and Gvardiol. Always first on the scene to congratulate. Haaland is also quite a good celebrator for other players scoring.

On the other hand Dokus natural reaction when we score is almost like we’ve conceded ha.

Cherkis goal yesterday was a good one as all of them were very animated when it goes in. Was a great watch.

I watch the highlights back checking each players reactions to our goals. Dunno why but I always find it interesting watching their instant natural reaction to others scoring.

Players like Stones, Dias tend to massively celebrate each goal we score. Noticed Rodri as well gets pretty excited, as do the other defenders like Laporte, Zinny, Kyle.

Foden used to massively react to every goal the team scored but seems to be calming down now he’s used to being in the team, which is a shame. Over the top excitement at a goal is great to see.

Mahrez and KDB never tend to hugely celebrate others goals but that maybe probably down to personality type, not that they don’t care.

Anyone else do this?

Yesterday Rodri celebrated Stones’s goal as if he scored, screaming Vamos and chasing him to the corner flag. I love that.
I’ve noticed in recent years Aguero has got more animated when others score. Clearly loves the club and the team.

Anyone have any personal favourites of players celebrating goals?
Have always done it. KDB hardly celebrated at all, but I don't believe that was due to lack of passion, it was more to do with just being a professional. I always think back to Shearer, who barely used to celebrate at all. Would just put his finger in the air and run for a short moment in time and that was about it, yet all Shearer ever wanted to do was play for Newcastle so you cannot accuse him for lack of passion.

To answer your question, Kompany's celebrations were always pretty iconic.

I always check out our celebrations. And the opposition.. Arsenal have a good team spirit, they celebrate like they care. Utd couldnt be further from that. Liverpool have been strange this year, when one of the young lads score they all celebrate for him, but for some others its all a bit muted, little fist pump, just noot enough passion.

I like that our team have their favourites, like Orielly or Stones, the popular guys when they score. And I love that Haaland see's team mates goals as just as important as his. Sometimes (players like Salah) they dont like others scoring as much, laudable some would say but not for me. Its about the team winning.

that was the linesman, thats how it was done back then at corners from the opposite side
