FC United Thread

615 of them were travelling bucketeers. Other good crowds locally saw Macclesfield promoted to the league above them get 4265 & bury in the league below them got 5337 vs clitheroe.

Generally non league crowds are on the up as people are priced out & enjoy having a beer. Fc buck that trend, proving that they’re nothing special. their tribute act hasn’t appealed to the people of moston & their crowds are in decline. That’s why they’ve relied on constant council hand outs while claiming they’re doing things differently, pointing out they don’t have a benefactor & generally being smug about the fuck ups they’ve presided over for 20 years.
Home to Ashton United on Saturday when Big Rags aren’t playing. Let’s see if they can scrape in over 2,500. Anything less is a sure sign that folk are voting with their feet.

Their only home game of the holiday period & a local derby against Ashton who would take a decent following & they still cat get a decent holiday crowd

2084.
I don’t think that’s today’s attendance, I think that’s the year they have promised the council they will pay them back the public’s money that they owe!

Ex premier league star striker missed a penalty too.

For anyone that didht catch it in the evening news last week why the hell are city hiring journeyman lower league footballers who call themselves lifelong united fans to watch YouTube for us? He’s not even setting the world alight at pallet park - 10 goals this season in more than 25 games & that’s boosted by being the penalty taker

Next game Is Tuesday night so will be a piss poor attendance.
Rag Socks are 4th playing 3rd placed Stockton - both on 40 points though the visitors have played one more game, so come on Stockton!

They’ll be lucky to get the game on with the weather this week.

Meanwhile the teeth gnashing amongst the bucketeers has reached new heights. Following the loss to Ashton on a day they couldn’t fill the subs bench their manager said they can’t even compete for signing players with bury in the league below. the fans are saying that HMRC should investigate all other non league clubs as it’s not a financial level playing field and it’s just not fair on “sustainably run clubs like theirs” displaying the usual lack of self awareness or the crippling debts they’ve run up over 20 years.

They reckon all other clubs have benevolent owners, pay cash in hand, declare wages as expenses etc etc and as per usual display little awareness of the generosity of all us Manchester council tax payers.

Maybe at the same time HMRC can investigate tax evasions of one club who drop the price of season tickets by a significant amount of taxable money but then suggest to fans that they could pay the difference via a non taxable “donation” to the same club.

They do make me laugh when they consider themselves to be a sustainably run club lol

These rapscallions are the most brass-necked monkeys in Non-League football.
How they have the nerve to whine about Bury (whose supporters have loyally stood by them, despite huge adversity) is remarkable.
Don't they even remember which club offered them a home ?
Yes, you Splitters, let's get the media (especially those you've suckered in to believing your fables) investigating all Non-League clubs' finances...
