I thought the concept was great and the scaling was brilliant but then started to go downhill about 1/3rd of the way in. Good job you didn't make it to the end and the last 30 minutes :D

:) It is definitely not the first time a time loop has been done. I don't believe it was well executed and I think the planetary exploration was mesmerising and then just randomly ditched. Also, if you are making reference to Einstein's special theory of relativity, there are a lot of contradictions.

Pretty accurate summary. A combination of Predator, T-Rex from original Jurassic Park, and Hacksaw Ridge.

Watched The Big Short, bit complicated for my limited intelligence, but the underlying message of how the hoi poloi/ rich bankers screwed millions of people for their own benefit is clear to see.

Not a bad film, but some silliness in it. I watched it shortly after Margin Call to compare. On every count, Margin Call is as near as a masterpiece as a film can come when there's basically nothing but talking in it. If you haven't seen it, see it.
