Thanks for everything your effort has been great 18-19 season in particular you were fantastic.

If I said I'd miss Bernardo the player the last few seasons I'd be straight up lying though, does my head in.

Kovacic has been injured for ages, how can he show on the field consistency?
True, but he’s not been entirely consistent in all the time he’s been with us. A fine player, indeed, but one who always strikes me as preferring to play second fiddle. All of the players I mentioned need to step up.

Devastated doesn’t cover it, there will never be another Bernardo….He’s irreplaceable! I feel blessed to have seem him for 9 years in City blue, genius of a player and incredible professional! Time to give him the send off he well and truly deserves CTID
There won't. Just as there's not been another Yaya, Sergio, Sterling, Kev, Fernandinho, David Silva, Riyad, Ewing, but we find players that can fill the gap left - almost! And then add their own magic to the mix.

Changing of the guard with only really Rodri left I. what you would call our legends.

Sad times but exciting, a rb, midfielder and someone to replace Savinho/ Mahmoush on the wing and I think we’d be good to go again.

The real benefit after those 2 is it should be awhile before age catches up with one of them:

The guy is a City legend, a hero, central to all we have achieved. To hear the knobheads, supposed City fans slagging him off, thinking he's finished etc. They know fuckall, shouldnt even be football fans nevermind City fans.

I saw his first game for us, and I could tell he was different from just that first game. Lately he seems have to turned into a workhorse, setting the tempo from the back and pinging the ball to safer areas.

We WILL miss his industry next season, as well as his control of the game... probably more than we missed Rodri last season... I hope the club find a decent replacement or that we have one.

It’s always sad to see great players leave but he has (if you believe what you read) been wanting to leave for quite a few years.

He’s been a fantastic player for us. In the last three months or so I think he’s actually been playing as well, or even better, than at anytime in his time with us. His ability to run for 90+ plus every game is remarkable.

We’ll miss him.

Most definitely! We’ve been truly spoilt over the last 10-15 years, it’s been a golden period and the players you’ve mentioned above are amongst the greatest to have ever graced the game! 100% more statues are due. For what it’s worth I’m pretty confident it will be Anderson we bring in and I think he will be superb in our side under Pep!

Not unexpected nor surprising news. I think we all knew that this would be Bernardo's last season in Blue, but confirmation makes it more difficult to accept.

The second Silva has been as brilliant in his own way as the first one was. 450 appearances in a City shirt, with at least 45 games in every one of his nine seasons. That’s phenomenal in today’s game. Fletcher said during Saturday's game that he has only been unavailable through injury for nine games. An amazing statistic.

We will miss his tenacity, awareness and ability to play all over the pitch.

My two favourite memories of Bernardo are the coffee cup incident at Klanfield and his amazing performance in the 4-0 against FC Franco.

I wish him all the best for the rest of his career and future, and wouldn’t it be great to see him back at Manchester City in some capacity after his retirement?

The brew incident happened at The Etihad when we had to give them a guard of honour for winning the league.

For me his best performance was against Liverpool in 2019 when he broke the premier league record for the most amount of running and pitch covered in a single game. Still don't think that's ever been beaten

This myth has somehow seeped into the consciousness of so many blues. I have never once heard Bernardo say he ever wanted to leave and have asked loads of posters who say this for a link, and never received one.

The club has to do a mosaic of the famous brew against the scousers.

Sadly we know the club would come out with some blathering about it being inappropriate. We should crowdfund a fibreglass statue that we put out ourselves on match days. Someone would have to volunteer to keep it in their shed though.

Should be on a banner for his final home game though.
