Will we win the league this season? No

Are they really?
If you were to pick a combined best starting 11 from Arsenal and PSG, whom would you pick?

For me, Saliba Gabriel, Raya and Rice make the combined starting 11. The rest are from PSG. And even with those 4 from Arsenal, is the combined squad far better than what PSG already have? For me... not a huge upgrade.

Whereas, would the combined 11 massively upgrade Arsenal's squad - clearly so, IMO.

I favor PSG to beat Arsenal in the final (and bettors are, at present, slightly favoring PSG), but it's a one-off game and anything may happen.

I think if Arsenal do win the league this season it will ultimately be down to them keeping Saliba, Gabriel, and Rice fit while Dias, Gvardiol, and Rodri have all had to deal with long-term injuries. Teams do just need that solid core at the end of the day and we've not had it often enough. We'll have essentially lost the league across those games vs Spurs & Brighton (home and away) - Gvardiol missed all four of them, Dias missed three of them.

By the end of this season, Gabriel will have made 32 PL appearances, Saliba will have made 32 PL appearances, and Declan Rice will have played 37. 101 appearances in total out of a possible 114. By contrast, by the end of this season, Dias will have made 26 PL appearances, Gvardiol will have made 16 PL appearances, and Rodri will have played 23. Even adding in Guehi's 12 appearances the total only reaches 81 total appearances out of 114.

I think as a team arsenal are very strong.
PSG are superb but not great defensively although did well last night
arsenal are very frustrating and not sure do PSG come up against the dark tactics regularly
Definitely don't want to see acreoeat of the CWC where they fell to pieces.

I agree that PSG are a better team, but 4 Arsenal players out of a combined 11 is not bad. They do indeed have a good side (especially when everyone is fit which, to be fair to them, hasn't been the case for parts of this season). Where PSG are clearly far stronger than Arsenal is in attack - which was true for Bayern as well.

But on the topic of this thread, I think it's extremely unlikely at this point that we win the league.

Still just fancy them to get a bit carried away with reaching the final and slipping up on these last few games but also praying we win all of ours. Maybe it's the dreamer in me, but it's served me well in seasons gone by...

Arse won 4 of last 10 away matches across all competitions.
Wembley not counted.

We have to make some impressive stuff instead of defence clownery and they might have a weak moment. More pressure needed. Let's see.

Unfortunately the days of the best team winning the league are over.corrupt incompetent referees and var are the deciding factor now. They have the technology to make the game better but chose to manipulate it to confirm what Parrry said 6 years ago
We have a strategic plan to make sure we have a different winner every couple of seasons.
This is happening now

This is an absolutely ludicrous take.

Declan Rice doesn't get anywhere near PSG's midfield and Pacho is better than either CB they have.

Which was the last season the best team won the league out of interest?

PSG need 2 points to win their league. Arsenal might need to win all 3.

That could make a huge difference combined with the mental pressure of such a big occasion, which they're not used to.

I'm sure Arteta will be focussing on the set pieces and looking to profit from those against this PSG side, knowing they can't go toe to toe with them.

I still think there's a higher probability they win fuck all than they go and do the league and CL double.

its sick to think within 3 weeks Arse could hold PL and CL trophy if everything works out for them. recently I was just giving them large at work about their quadruple becoming big fat zero trophies. had high hope us Simeone fucking them and us not messing up after pulling it back to level points.

we must beat this washed up Chelsea in FA final as losing to rags and then Palace in last two finals would be horrible to lose to this shower of shit Chelsea too. but they have form for winning trophies when dont look like deserving it.

Win our games and keep the fucking weird lot honest, need to get back at it against Brentford and I really don’t think west ham will be a gimme for that lot

I would happily take the Carabou cup, FA Cup and a victory in the 115 court case. I personally think it maybe difficult winning the league now. Can't see Arsenal dropping points.
Absolutely, it's been a successful season plus they know we schooled them in the Carabou Cup and also took 4 points off them in the league.
I think Viana will know what is required to overtake them for next season

Then why bother watching if you think it's all scripted.
