Pep to leave at the end of the season

lost for words really, took a few days to accept the reality. What an experience it’s been with pep at the helm. i doubt we’ll ever see someone as great in our lifetime especially running our beloved club. some unreal otherworldly football played during his time and even when we didn’t win titles or champions leagues i was still so confident were were the best team in the world.

the video hit hard and just shows why pep stayed as long as he did. leaving a mancunian a city legend and i really hope he’s stays within the group and maybe becomes city sporting director some day.

Thanks pep

The moment it all sunk in to me, what Pep had done for my club,
I was sat having a beer on a rooftop bar in Athens after the Supercup final with a mate and our wives, looking at the Parthenon over his shoulder, that’s when it hit me……my F*ck me has this all really happened? Moment.
I said to him…….,,”We’ve won the treble mate……..,”
Every City fan will know the look we gave one another as we raised our glasses.

It simply couldn’t get any better

Pep thanks for not just being our manager, our leader and our Warrior, our standard bearer, but for giving your absolute everything……,it’s been our pleasure

Unique, one off, world class manager who will always be the best.

You can’t replace a guy like this but the club will move on to a new and different era and I’m certain it will be successful.

Thanks Pep, genius and a blue like us.

We've had one of the greatest football managers in history at our club for the majority of his career thus far. Tell yourself 25 years ago that'd happen one day and you'd be laughing.

Gutted like most and wanted him to go out on a bigger high, but all great things come to an end eventually. We'll look back at him and this past decade with great fondness.

Absolutely devastated despite knowing it was coming. Just doesn't feel like the right time to leave, he had to leave in a season of glory it's the only fitting way to go after unprecedented greatness. Would be so much easier to take if he went out as reigning champions.

Likely whatever the hell he wants. More of a keep him busy role so he isn't tempted to go back into club management elsewhere. International i can take but I'll be heartbroken if we ever see him in charge of another club.

Hopefully it's more of a Cruiyff-like role in his later years at Barcelona. I would like nothing more for him to have that role at City and continue the pedigree from Michels to Cruiyff to Guardiola and then to .... who? I never liked that it may end with Guardiola - it's a long and important football history.

Who thought twenty years ago it would go Ajax - Barcelona - City? Football, eh?

Nothing but thanks to him for all the memories- enough to last a lifetime of trophies and success.. thanks Pep for all of it .. forever a Manc … forever a Blue
