PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

All I’ll say is that if Khaldoon doesn’t know that the IC have ruled in our favour or hasn’t got very good reason to believe that they will then that’s a very rash, borderline stupid answer to a question he’s had plenty of time to prepare for … and Khaldoon definitely isn’t rash or stupid.
On one hand I agree that his mood and tone seems very promising. On the other hand, I think he'd say the same no matter what lol. Like seriously, what else would he say?

His tone has changed from his interview 2 years ago, ehich is hopefully good news
I agree. There’s a definite tonal change. He’s obviously supremely confident and I’m sure that is based on his knowledge of the proceedings, not a gut feeling. But that doesn’t mean he can know in the absence of a ruling.

Every word is significant for a man who moves in the circles he does. There was absolutely no reason for him to say wonderful. The whole thing is scripted and edited. If on reflection he didn’t want to give that impression it wouldn’t be in there.
That's a good point, I thought the similar myself but you have put it into words.

You wouldn't want to aggravate the situation with the panel by making an emotional statement like that, I feel a lot more confident in a positive outcome for City.

I think Khaldoon’s comments are just reiterating his long-standing confidence that we will win, rather than knowing that we have won.
Correct. Pretty bonkers for Magic Hat to read anything positive into the KAM interview but Khaldoon said nothing new. If you couldn't see the confidence of him and the club generally before today I have no idea what you've been watching. But likewise, yet again, we have been EXPRESSLY told they do not have the decision. I KNOW this is true. But even if you don't believe me, it is what KHALDOON HIMSELF says here (following Pannick before him saying it). And neither had any need to say they didn't have the decision.

That remains the simple fact. No preview, no summary, no decision. They wait and do not know the outcome of the hearing even if they obviously know what they actually did and have an impression of how the hearing went.

Hed be more measured and say we are awaiting the ruling and will discuss it when it arrives, these kind of people dont waste words on frivolites as they know every word and action will be analysed as has been shown on here.

Im so hopeful of our 'victory' that its made me both cling to every potential positive, but at the same time absolutely skeptical of any positive, this shit needs to end, its mashing my napper.

Its not positive or negative its just fact, people at that level don't feel the need to fill air with empty words, they say what they have to and only that as their words matter.

Even though I am personally convinced that we are innocent , is there any other answer Khaldoon can give besides total exoneration - Even if the verdict is some 10 million fine and 2 points deduction which means zilch in the long term.

And if he skips the 115 questions all together , I am pretty sure Nick Harris and Magic Hat would be ready with their 25 tweets about how the absence of question is the verdict of guilt.

At this point in proceedings and in a scripted interview I think he’d have been far more circumspect than he was if he wasn’t genuinely sure of his position. His response definitely came across as not just confident but also slightly confrontational (if that’s the right word).
