We are paying our share indirectly - all clubs are. It has no independent revenue streamsThe PL is a separate company with an independent identity.
We are not paying their costs save in the most indirect way.

Their premiums are likely to rise exponentially if they lose.
They are currently in dispute/ litigation with 25% of their membership and that could rise soon.
Like I’ve said once or twice, the cunts don’t know what they’re doing.Their premiums are likely to rise exponentially if they lose.

Doesn’t the money from the TV deals go to the PL before being distributed to the clubs? I had surmised matters such as merit payments would be made net of any operating costs (eg staff costs) and that legal fees would be treated in similar fashion. They don't have insurance. But what policy would pay for a regulatory complaint against a member club. Would be an odd/very niche product.
The PL doesn't have its own money. It takes funds from the revenue in to pay its costs and then passes money to the clubs. The PL is not funded by a third party.
To be fair, I don't think they ever envisaged a scenario where they would be simultaneously running multiple claims vs a number of its clubs all with budgets at the very top of English commercial disputes
Exactly. But that is my point - the money is just the top slice of PL clubs' moneyDoesn’t the money from the TV deals go to the PL before being distributed to the clubs? My bad if not!
Only non American owned clubs. HmmmmThe article is all over the place. What is interesting though is the mention they went after Everton (and lost), in an attempt to make them pay the full cost of the proceedings. They seem to be coming more and more into conflict with their own member clubs. Well, some of them.

pedantic .
They will act independently. Probably regulatory and PR guys and some consultation with Masters, then they press release. Won't clear announcements with clubsCan anyone clarify how PL agrees content of press releases. In general but in particular to the Leicester issue. I imagine several clubs not disappointed by the outcome of their appeal
